• Apparatet bliver meget varmt når det
fingerer. Undgå at røre maskinens varme
dele.
• Brug ikke apparatet til opvarmning af et
rum.
• Brug ingen agressive eller skurende

apparatets rustfrie overflader da disse kan
ridse overfladerne.
• Producenten hæfter ikke for skader, som
opstår på grund af uhensigtsmæssig
tilslutning af maskinen o som kan føre til
personskader så som brændfare, elektrisk
stød eller andre farer for brugeren.
• Beslutter man sig for aldrig mere at bruge
apparatet, bør man trække stikket ud af
stikkontakten og klippe kablet over.
4. FUNKTION OG BETJENING
FØR APPARATET TAGES I BRUG
FØRSTE GANG
Vask kanden invendigt inden den bruges
første gang.
Rengør kanden udvendigt med en fugtig
klud.
BETJENING
Sådan varmes mælken op
• Tag låget af (A), fyld kanen med den
ønskede mælkemængde (ikke over 500
ml pr, gang) og sæt låget på kanden igen.
• Anbring varmepladen (E) på
kontaktenheden. Brug kun
kontaktenghedsmodellerne som
breskrevet i
fig. 2.
• Man bør sikre sig at apparatet står i
vater på en tør overflade. Maskinen bør
stå mindst 10 cm fra vægge og andre
genstande så det kan drejes frit.
• Anbring kanen med mælk på
varmepladen og varm mælken op ved
at indstille termostatknappen
(F) på den
ønskede tempretur.
• Kort efeter vil mælken nå op på den
ønskede temperatur.
5. RENGØRING
• Inden man rengører apparatet bør man
altid fjerne kanen fra varmepladen og lade
maskinen køle af.
• Tag kanens låg af og fjern skumtuden.
• Når skumtuden rengøres bør man være
forsigtig så batterirummet ikke bliver vådt.
• Varmepladen bør altid være tøt da fugt
og damp kan forårsage rustdannelser.
Hvis dette sker, kan man anvende
rengøringmidler imod rust som kan får i
forretninger.
• Tør maskinens overflader af med en fugtig
alud. Varmepladen må ikke vaskes af under
hanen. Brug ikke slipende eller agresive
rengøringsmidler, affedtningsmidler eller
sprit til rengøringen af varmepladen.
• Maskinen må ikke rengøres med et
dampskudsapparat.
• Tør apparatet ordentligt af inden det stilles
væk eller inden det anvendes påny.
MÆLKESKUMNING
Skal mælken skummes, bør man fjerne
kanden fra varmepladen og tage låget af.
Tryk på indstillingsknappen til skum
(B)
og slip knappen når man har opnået den
ønskede mængde skum.

• In the event of a breakdown and/or the
appliance fails to work properly, switch
it off and do not try to fix it. Contact only
a Technical Service authorised by the
manufacturer.
• The user must not replace the cord. In the
event that the cord is damaged or must
be replaced, contact only a Technical
Service authorised by the manufacturer.
• Do not touch the appliance with wet or
damp hands or feet. Do not immerse the
appliance in water.
• Never use the cord to pull the plug from a
socket
• Keep the appliance out of children’s
reach.
• Do not let the cord touch the hot parts of
the appliance.
• Unplug the appliance when not in use
and before any cleaning or maintenance
operations.
• Try not to get too close to the milk
warmer when it is in operation.
• Note that the steam is not always visible
and may scald.
• Do not operate the milk warmer on a
sloped surface nor move the appliance
while it is switched on.
• Do not fill the milk warmer while it is on
the connection base. If the connection
base gets wet, disconnect the appliance
from the current, remove it and dry it
thoroughly. Once it is completely dry you
may use it again.
• Do not use or place this appliance on
or near hot surfaces (gas or electric
hotplates, ovens, etc.).
• Keep all connections clean and dry.
• Do not leave the appliance unattended
when in use as it could be a source of
danger.
• Remove the appliance from the base or
disconnect it when not in use or before
cleaning.
• The appliance will heat up when in
operation. Do not touch its hot surfaces.
• Do not use this appliance as a space
heater.
• Do not use any abrasive cleaning agent
to clean the stainless steel exterior of
the appliance as this could scratch the
surface.
Before using this appliance for the first time,
read this instructions manual carefully and
keep it for future reference.
• Before using the appliance, check
that your home voltage is the same as
indicated on the appliance.
• The electrical safety of the appliance is
guaranteed only if it is connected to an
efficient earth.
• Once you have removed the packaging,
check that the appliance is in perfect
condition. If in any doubt, contact your
nearest Technical Service.
• This appliance must be used only for
household use. Do not use it in the open air.

4. OPERATION
BEFORE FIRST USE
Clean and rinse the inside of the milk jug
before using it for the first time and clean
the outside with a slightly damp cloth.
USE OF THE APPLIANCE
TO HEAT MILK
• Remove the lid (A), fill the milk jug with
the desired amount of milk (not more
than 500 ml each time), taking care not
to let it overflow, and replace the lid.
• Attach the mini hotplate (E) for warming the
milk jug to the power base. Use only the
connection bases specified in
Figure 2.
• Make sure that the appliance is placed
on a dry, flat surface with at least 10 cm
of space from the bottom part and walls
so as to be able to turn.
• Place the milk jug on the mini hotplate
and heat the milk, turning the rotary
thermostat knob
(F) to the appropriate
temperature.
In a short time the milk will reach the
desired temperature.
FROTHING MILK
To froth your milk, remove the milk jug from
the mini hotplate and take off the lid. Press
the milk frother button
(B) and release it
once you have the desired frothiness.
• Do not use unauthorised connections.
This will invalidate the warranty and could
cause fire, electric shock or injury.
• Should you decide not to use your
appliance again, cut the power cord after
unplugging it.
5. CLEANING
• Before cleaning, always remove the
appliance from its base and leave it to cool.
• Remove the lid from the jug and remove
the frother nozzle.
• When cleaning the frother rod, take care
not to wet the battery compartment.
• Always keep the hotplate dry, as damp
and steam can cause rust. If rusting
occurs, specific cleaning agents are
commercially available.
• The frame can be cleaned with a damp
cloth. Do not rinse the hotplate under
the tap. Do not use abrasive cleaning
agents, degreasers, alcohol, etc. to
clean the hotplate.
• The appliance must not be cleaned with
a steam cleaner.
• Dry all the components thoroughly
before putting them away or using them
again.
6. INFORMATION FOR THE CORRECT
DISPOSAL OF ELECTRICAL AND
ELECTRONIC APPLIANCES
At the end of its working
life, the product must not be
disposed of as urban waste.
It must be taken to a special
local authority differentiated
waste collection centre or
to a dealer providing this
service. Disposing of a household appliance
separately avoids possible negative
consequences for the environment and
health deriving from inappropriate disposal
and enables the constituent materials to be
recovered to obtain significant savings in
energy and resources.
To remind you that you must collaborate
with a selective collection scheme, the
symbol shown appears on the product
warning you not to dispose of it in
traditional refuse containers.

• Este aparato debe utilizarse sólo para uso
doméstico. No lo utilice al aire libre.

• El usuario no debe proceder a la
sustitución del cable. En caso de que esté

• No toque el aparato con manos o pies
mojados o húmedos. No sumerja el
aparato en agua.
• Al desenchufar la clavija nunca tire del
cable.
• Mantenga el aparato fuera del alcance de
los niños.
• Evite que el cable toque las partes
calientes del aparato.
• Desenchufe el aparato cuando no se vaya
a utilizar y antes de efectuar cualquier
operación de limpieza o mantenimiento.
• Procure no acercarse demasiado a la jarra
de leche cuando esté en marcha.
• Observe que el vapor no es siempre visible
y puede quemarse.
• No ponga a funcionar la lechera en una
superficie inclinada ni mueva el aparato
mientras esté encendido.
• No llene la jarra de leche mientras esté
en la base de conexión. Si la base de
conexión se moja, desconecte el aparato
de la corriente, retírelo y séquelo bien. Una
vez que esté completamente seco podrá
volver a utilizarlo.
• No utilice o coloque este aparato sobre o
cerca de superficies calientes (placas de
cocina de gas o eléctrica, hornos, etc.)
• Mantenga todas las conexiones limpias y
secas.
• No abandone el aparato cuando esté en
funcionamiento porque puede ser una
fuente de peligro.
• Retire el aparato de la base o desconéctelo
cuando no se esté utilizando o antes de
limpiarlo.
• El aparato se calentará cuando esté en
funcionamiento. No toque las superficies
