Germanica GRGSTE1 is a handheld garment steamer with a 250ml water tank capacity. It heats up in about half a minute and is ready to use. Read this manual thoroughly before you start using the product.
The safety precautions instructions reduces the risk of fire, electric shock and
injury when correctly complied to.
Please follow all instructions and take notice of all warnings.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
GENERAL SAFETY
• Before turning on, make sure your outlet voltage and circuit frequency
correspond to the voltage stated on the appliance rating label. If this is not the
case, do not use the appliance.
• Insert the plug firmly into an appropriate mains socket. Do not alter the plug.
Do not use an extension cord or electrical outlet with inadequate
current-carrying capacity.
• To protect against fire and electric shock, do not immerse the cord, plug or
the appliance itself in water or other liquid. Ensure your hands are dry before
handling the plug or switching on the appliance. Do not use it outdoors or on
wet surfaces.
• Do not kink or damage the power cord. Do not wrap it around the appliance.
Do not pull or carry the product by the cord. Do not use the cord as a handle,
close a door on the cord or pull the cord around sharp edges or corners. Do not
run the product over the cord. Run the cord in such a way that there will be no
risk of anyone pulling it inadvertently or tripping over it. Keep the cord away
from heated surfaces.
• Do not use the steamer for space heating purposes.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knownledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
• Do not use this product for anything other than its intended purpose, and only
use it as described in these operating instructions.
• The plug must be removed from the socket-outlet before the water reservoir is
filled with water.
• The steamer is not to be used if it has been dropped, if there are visible
signs of damage or if it is leaking.

To avoid scalding and burns, take extra care when using the Steam Iron.
• The high temperatures generated by the steam cleaner can cause injuries
and burns. Avoid skin contact with the appliance during use.
• Never point the soleplate at persons, pets or plants, and only use it on
surfaces or objects that can withstand high temperatures.
• Do not open the filling aperture during use.
• After use, allow the product sucient time to cool before removing the cleaning.
• Liquid or steam not directed towards equipment containing electrical
components.
• Care should be taken when using the appliance due to the emission of steam
CAUTION: HOT STEAM!
• Always switch o the appliance first and then unplug the cord from the outlet
when you have finished, before connecting or changing accessories
and before cleaning the appliance.
• Do not leave the product unattended when plugged in.
• This appliance is not a toy; make sure children do not play with it. Cleaning
and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older
than 8 and supervised. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of
children less than 8 years. Close attention is necessary when using the
product near children.
• Fill the water tank only with tap water. In hard water areas, the use of distilled
or demineralised water is recommended as it will help prevent the build-up
of sediments.
• Do not use aromatic or alcohol-based products or descaling agents in the
product water tank because these can damage the product.
• Never stick any objects in the openings. Do not use the device if the openings
are blocked.
• Do not direct the steamer at people, animals, plants and
equipment containing electrical components (such as the interior of ovens).
Do not clean over floor electrical outlets.
• Keep your work area well lit. Only use the appliance on a flat and stable surface
where it is unlikely to be overturned.

ELECTRICAL SAFETY AND POWER CORD HANDLING
Make sure that your outlet voltage and circuit frequency correspond to the
voltage stated on the appliance rating plate.
Connect the appliance to a properly earthed power outlet, which must be
easily accessible so that you can unplug it if necessary.
Do not kink or damage the power cord. Do not let it hang over the edge of a
table or benchtop, and do not let it touch hot or sharp surfaces. Make sure the
cord does not run under the Steam Iron.
Do not insert any objects into the appliance.
USAGE RESTICTIONS AND CONDITIONS
This appliance is intended for indoor domestic use only. It is not suitable for
commercial, industrial or laboratory use.

Switch the appliance o and unplug it from the power supply
after you have finished using it and before cleaning, servicing,
maintenance, or moving the appliance. DO NOT pull the cord
when disconnecting, grip the plug and pull it gently out of the outlet.
To reduce the risk of electrocution and other electrical hazards,
do not immerse the cord or plug in water.
Do not use this appliance if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is
not working properly, or if it has been damaged or dropped.

1. DOOR MAT
When not in use, the garment steamer can be placed on the desktop with its
four bottom feet in contact to prevent sliding and avoid accidents.
2. THE WIRE PROTECTING SLEEVE
The machine is in use, ensuring that the wire protecting sleeve rotates to allow
for free product usage.
3. POWER CORD
To ensure power supply in the power socket.
4. THE WATER TANK BUTTON
Press and hold the button, take down the water tank and fill water into the
water tank.
5. THE INDICATING LAMP
The indicating lamp turns on when unit is heating.

6. THE WATER TANK
The water tank can be filled with water with capacity 250 ML.

Open the tank,and fill the water into the water tank to the “MAX” position.
8. STEAM BUTTON
When this button is pressed down, this garment steamer can generate steam to
vertically iron clothes.
9.STAINLESS STEEL PANEL
Panel becomes hot after use, please avoid touching it as the temperature is high
and may cause burns.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Tear off before all the viscose and protective film for the first time.
According to the following instructions.
1. Take the product out of the packaging and separate the accessories. Please
prevent them from falling and breaking.
2. To use steam, fill the water tank to MAX, the maximum capacity of the
water tank is 250ml.
3. The power line is plugged into the socket, heating indicating light turns on.
After about half a minute, the indicating light turns o, heating finished and
users can start ironing.
4. Smell may be issued for the first time. It will be disappear after a few times
usages. Please rest assured about that.
5. According to the dierent needs, use the accessories.
6. Any time, you can put the garment steamer on a flat desktop, but attention
should be paid to the panel after use, cause it is hot, please do not touch.
7. If you need to fold clothes, or curtains , vertically use the handheld garment
steamer.
8. After use, unplug the power line, and disconnect the power supply.
Warning: Do not use, or unattended, must unplug the power line!

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
1. Pull plug o, disconnect the power supply
WARNING: The stainless steel panel is very hot, burn care!
2. Use a cloth to gently scrub the surface of cloth products, making sure not to
make it too wet in order to prevent the solution from entering the machine.
Note: Please note that when cleaning, you should avoid letting water enter
into the machine. To ensure a smooth stainless steel panel, try to minimize
metal friction.
WARNING: Do not immerse the machine into the water or any other cleaning
solution!
