GETTING STARTED
Battery Operation
Disconnect the AC Adapter. Open the BATTERY compartment and insert 2
“AA” batteries (not included) making sure that the battery polarity (+/-) is
observed.*
Remove the batteries if the unit will not be used for a long period of time.
* Note: Failure to align the polarity properly can result in personal injury
and/or property damage. When the low battery indicator
appears on
the LCD screen, be prepared to replace the batteries.
AC Operation
Before operating the JX-CD335, make sure that the voltage on the unit
corresponds to the voltage of your local area. Unravel the AC Line Cord;
insert one end into a DC jack on the unit and the other end into a standard
AC outlet.
When not in use, unplug the AC power cord from the AC power
socket.
CAUTION: To prevent possible injury or property damage, use a 4.5-volt
DC, 600mA adapter only, and follow all safety instructions provided by the
adapter manufacturer.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Playing a Disc
Be sure to reduce the volume before plugging in or unplugging the
headphones.
1. Plug the headphones (included) into the HEADPHONE jack.
2. Press the CD OPEN button to open the CD compartment.
3. Hold the disc with the label side up and press it in until it “clicks” into
place.
4. Close the disc compartment, press the PLAY / PAUSE XII button.
5. Adjust the volume as desired.
6. To temporarily stop playback, press the PLAY / PAUSE XII button.
The elapsed playing time flashes in the display. Press the PLAY /
PAUSE XII button again to resume playback.
7. To stop play, press the STOP / POWER OFF button. The power will
turn off automatically when the entire disc has played or after
approximately 30 seconds of inactivity.
Programmed Play
The tracks on the disc can be programmed for playing in any order.
1. Press the STOP / POWER OFF button during playback.
2. Press the PROG Button and select the desired track by pressing the
or buttons, and then press the PROG button again to program
the track.
3. Repeat Step 2 for all tracks to be programmed.
4. Press the PLAY / PAUSE XII button to begin the programmed
playback.
NOTE: When playback stops, the programming will be erased.
5. To cancel programmed playback, press the STOP / POWER OFF
button.
Repeat Playback
To play a single track repeatedly, press the MODE button repeatedly
until “
” appears. Press the PLAY / PAUSE XII button if playback
is stopped.
To play the entire CD repeatedly, press the MODE button repeatedly
until “
” appears. Press the PLAY / PAUSE XII button if
playback is stopped.
To cancel the Repeat Function, press the MODE button repeatedly until
” or “ ” disappears.

Intro Scan Play
1. Press the MODE button repeatedly in stop mode or during playback.
2. When “INTRO” appears in the display, press the PLAY / PAUSE XII
button.
The first 10 seconds of each track beginning with track 1, and will be
played in order.
3. To cancel this function, press the MODE button repeatedly until
“INTRO” disappears.
Random Play
1. Press the MODE button repeatedly in stop mode or during playing,
2. When “RND” appears in the display, press the PLAY / PAUSE XII
button.
3. All tracks on the disc will be played in random order selected by CD
player,
4. When Random Play is complete the player will shut off automatically.
5. To cancel this function, press the MODE button repeatedly until “RND”
disappears.
MAINTENANCE
Notes on CDs
1. Before playing, clean the CD with a
cleaning cloth. Wipe the CD from the
center out to the ends.
2. Do not expose the CD to direct sunlight or heat sources such as hot air
ducts. Do not expose to direct sunlight, nor leave CDs in a car, as there
can be a considerable rise in temperature.
3. Do not stick paper or sticker on the CD. Do not scratch, dirt or
fingerprints on the CD, for it may cause tracking error.
Cleaning the Lens
If the lens becomes dirty, it may cause a skipping of sound during CD
operation. Clean with a commercially available lens cleaner.
Cleaning the Cabinet
Clean the cabinet, panel and controls with a soft cloth slightly moistened
with a mild detergent solution. Do not use any type of abrasive pad,
scouring powder, or solvent, such as alcohol or benzine.

Troubleshooting
When the instructions in this manual are followed, this unit should function
properly. However, if any of the following difficulties occur and cannot be
corrected by the user or if a problem arises that is not mentioned here,
please contact jWIN Customer Service or a qualified service technician.

Weak batteries.
Batteries are getting weak,
replace all batteries or use the
AC adapter.
Tracks do not
change or set

Batteries are too weak
and the battery symbol
will show in display.
Replace all batteries with fresh
alkaline batteries. Battery life with
fresh batteries is about 4-8 hours.
Buttons do not
work.
Electronic or static error
caused circuitry to lock.
Remove batteries and AC
adapter.
Wait a few seconds and re-insert.
Make sure batteries are fresh or
adapter has power.
