AES Spy HD Mini Wi-Fi Web Cam Setup Instruction
Main Feature:

3 Starts recording right after power up the camera.
Before you setup camera:
1. First of all you need a Wi-Fi network in order to setup, operate, and view the camera.
Also be sure your Wi-Fi connects to the internet.
2. Secondly you need an iPhone or Android smart phone to setup & operate camera.
3. You need to download and install ‘NVSIP” from your phone’s App store.
4. Before you start setup up the camera, you should know your Wi-Fi login password.
5. Use a small paper clip to stick into the Reset Button hole, hold 10 seconds. You will
hear “waiting for configuration” first, keep holding until you hear “Reset Device”.
6. Write down the NVSIP ID from the camera back sticker.
7. Power the camera, the camera should start continually video recording as default, all
the video clip will be 10 minutes/clip. 16GB SD card shipped with the Camera.
8. We have included a small black sticker to cover the LED Status Light if you are using
this camera for covert purposes. CAUTION: Covert recording may not be legal in
your state. Please check the legalities on covert video/audio before using this camera.
iPhone/Android Setup:
1. Open “NVSIP” on your iPhone “Register” “ login”, (Your phone should
connect to the internet when you Register. If you have problems to complete the
registration, Use visitor login)
2. On the “My Device” page “ Click “ + ” button at the top right Click “Sound
Wave Configuration”
3. On the ‘Preparation” page enter your Wi-Fi network name (which connect to the
internet) and enter the password. Done Next. (5 GHz Not compatible, Use 2.4GHz)
4. Follow the on screen instruction, Power on the camera, wait 1 minute, press the
camera reset button, you will hear the Camera says that “waiting for configuration” .
5. Move your phone close to the camera’s microphone, Click the “round voice button”
on the phone screen. The phone will sound an audio signal, then the camera will
response the “Received the network configuration” and after a few seconds it will say
“successful configuration” “Next”
6. You will see a radar scan screen on the phone, and the radar will find the camera,
click that camera Click “Add”. The Username is “Admin”, Password is “123”
7. Press the back button in the top left (5 times) until you get back to “My Devices”
8. You will see the icon with your NVSIP ID shown on “My Device” screen.
9. Press it. You will see the live video feed. The setup is now complete.
Set Time Using Your Smart Phone:
After you finish setting up the camera and you can see live video through your smart phone, You
can set the time by clicking “Device Set/Device Manage” “Time Zone” “Time Set”
slide “Network time synchronization” off press “Timeset” It should set to the current time
on your phone automatically. You can change it by scrolling up or down if you need. Click
“Save” back back back.
Troubleshooting:
During the setup process you may need to log out of NVSIP and log back if the camera
doesn’t appear in “My Devices” after setup or resolve the “Connection Failed” message.
1. Camera not responding to sound wave configuration:
Be sure to press and hold down the reset button until you hear “Waiting for
Configuration” immediately before doing sound wave configuration.
2. NVSIP App not allowing you to open “Device Set/Device Manage”:
You will need to “Register” before using this feature.
3. Camera keeps saying “Configuration Failed” during set up:
Make sure you select the correct Wi-Fi network and type your correct Wi-Fi
password exactly as it is programmed in your wireless router. Also make sure
You are within 50 feet from your wireless router. The closer you are the better.
4. I can’t hear the audio:
Tap the live video screen until your see a banner on the top and bottom of the live
video screen. Press the microphone icon with a slash through it (Muted). Wait a few
seconds and you’ll hear the live audio. Also turn your volume all the way up.
5. After “Successful Configuration” my camera is not connecting:

, Log out of NVSIP, connect to your Wi-Fi network and re-open NVSIP.

6. The video feed is slow and choppy:
Connect to a Wi-Fi network, Try again. You can view this camera on 3G/4G but
depending on your data coverage is may be slow or may not connect at all.
