4.11 SmartVU and your Home Theatre Amp
To get the best out of your SmartVU-mini you want to be able to hear your audio via your
home theatre amplifier.
It couldn’t be simpler! Instead of plugging your SmartVU-mini directly into your HDTV,
simply plug it into a spare HDMI port on your home theatre amp perhaps alongside your
Blu-ray DVD player or Freeview DTR.
Now when you select that input on your amp, you can use your SmartVU-mini through your
sound system.
And if you want to just listen to some music, simply start Spotify (or any other music app)
and turn off the TV. Your SmartVU-mini will operate through your home theatre amp to give
you great music, without having your TV running all day.
4.12 Stream Content from Your PC
Enjoy your favorite computer media files on your TV from the comfort of your sofa and
you don’t even have to get up to connect cables to your computer. The media player on the
SmartVU lets you access videos, photos and music stored on your computer using your
home Wifi network.
5. Troubleshooting
If you do not see the LED lights, check the power is connected well.
If the LED light is bright and the TV is turned on but TV screen doesn’t show TV stick
interface, please check whether the HDMI is connected well, or check weather the TV
video output has been switched to HDMI output.
If you cannot see the mouse curser on the TV screen, please check whether the mouse
is connected well, if you use 2.4G wireless mouse, please make sure it has battery inside.
(Some mice do not match the SmartVU due to non-standard, please consult the mouse
suppliers)
If you have set up the Wi-Fi network, but still no Internet access, please check if the Wi-Fi
icon in lower right corner is completely gray. If it is gray it means the Wi-Fi signal is weak,
approach the router or access point to verify wireless connection.
Some applications are designed for mobile phones and may not be displayed in full
screen
If some applications cannot be used, these applications may not be optimized for the
Android 4.0 operation system.
