INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
The SSB-4 is a speaker support bridge for mounting Wheelock 4" ceiling
speaker assemblies into acoustic tile ceilings. The SSB-4 is designed
for use with ceiling tiles up to 24" wide. If a backbox is required, use:
A. Wheelock Flush Ceiling Mount ET Series:
Standard 4" square by 2-1/8" deep box with 1-1/2" extension
ring.
B. All other Wheelock 4" Flush Ceiling Mount Speakers:
Standard 4" square by 1-1/2" deep box with 1-1/2" extension
ring.
CAUTION: These devices are not intended for use in hazardous
locations as defined by the National Electrical Code (NEC) and by the
National Fire Protection Association (NFPA).
