Designated use
The tyre gauges of this type are exclusively designated to check and modify the air pressure in vehicle tyres. Any other use shall be considered
as undesignated use.
Technical data
Display range: 0-10 bar
Max. connection pressure: 16 bar
Operating temperature: +5°C to +30°C
Post mounting Wall mounting
Lay a compressed air line to the intended place. You can insert the
compressed air line into the post from the bottom or from the rear
side.
Fasten the post (1) to the floor using four screws (7).
Insert the connection hose (2) into the post and connect it to the
compressed air line and to the tyre gauge.
Plug the tyre gauge (3) onto the post from the top side.
Fasten the tyre gauge with the screw (4, 5).
Connect the filling hose (6) to the tyre gauge via the quick-acting
coupling.
Lay a compressed air line to the intended place of suspension. You
can insert the compressed air line into the device from the bottom or
from the rear side.
Connect the compressed air line (2) to the device (3).
Fasten the device to the wall using 3 dowels (8).
Connect the filling hose (6) to the tyre gauge via the quick-acting
coupling.
The connection pressure has to be limited to the max. permissible value, if required, a pressure reducer has to be arranged upstream.
Operate the device only with clean, condensate-free compressed air.
The water pipe of units in combined execution (with water connection) has to be drained during the winter season, as otherwise it might be
destroyed by frost.
Safety instructions
Operate the device only if it is in a perfect technical state.
Before filling the tyre, get informed about the correct tyre pressure.
Never exceed the max. permissible tyre pressure.
Check the tyre pressure only at tyre temperatures between + 5°C and + 30 C°. Never check the tyre pressure after long travels, because
during long travels the tyre temperature increases.
Fill a tyre only in short intervals (max. 1 s); check the tyre pressure between the intervals.
Operation
Plug the valve adapter (A) onto the filling valve of the tyre at the end of the filling hose (9) and
close the clamping lever (B).
Check the tyre pressure: for this purpose, read the indication on the pressure gauge (10).
If the pressure is too low: Fill the tyre for max. one second (button 11), then re-check.
If the pressure is too high: Blow off tyre pressure (button 12).
Repeat this process until the requested tyre pressure is achieved.
Remove the valve adapter from the filling valve of the tyre.
Maintenance and repair
CAUTION! During maintenance and repair works, disconnect the device from the compressed air
network.
Check the filters (spare parts list item 526) for soiling once per year.
Check the function of the control buttons, of the pressure gauge and of the valve adapter once per month.
Heed the calibration regulations.
Calibration
The national regulations shall apply. In the Federal Republic of Germany, tyre gauges must be calibrated according
to the calibration law of 11 July 1968. The validity duration of calibration is 2 years after expiry of the calendar year
in which the measuring instrument was calibrated for the last time. In case of repair or replacement of the pressure
gauge, the instrument has to be re-calibrated. The calibration obligation resides with the person who uses or keeps
the instrument.
