INITIAL SET UP
INSTRUCTIONS

subheadings therein before set
up or use of this product.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
General Operating Instructions
Press the red “on/off” button to turn 1.
the display screen on. Moving the
display head will also automatically
turn the screen on.
Slide the display head all the way 2.
to the left. Zero the readout with the
yellow button if necessary.
Press the blue button to select the 3.
measurement type desired: inches,
inches/fractional or millimeter.
Measuring in one measurement
type such as inches, and switching
to another such as millimeter or
fractions, automatically converts the
readout to the new measurement
type and value.
Take measurements by moving the 4.
display head. Place the thumb on the
Thumb Control (double steel wheels)
and slide to where desired.
The display head can be locked with 5.
the knurled knob at the top edge of
the display head.
When done using, press the red on/6.
off button and turn the readout off.
Place the calipers back into the 7.
storage case for safe keeping.
The power turns off automatically if 8.
unused for approximately 4-5
minutes.

Cleaning, Maintenance
BEFORE EACH USE,1. inspect the
general condition of the tool. Check
for misaligned or binding of moving
parts, cracked or broken parts, and
any other condition that may affect its
proper operation.
Check for oil or grease, dust or grit in 2.
the slide area.
AFTER USE,3. clean external surfaces
of the tool with clean, dry cloth.
In the event that the digital display 4.
fails to show or blinks repeatedly,
the battery must be replaced. Place
thumb over the battery compartment
cover and slide away from the display
screen. Remove the button battery
and replace with a new one with the
plus sign (+) facing up.
Troubleshooting

jaws.
With the slide still closed (all the way to the left),
press the lower right-hand “zero” button
Follow all safety precautions whenever diagnosing or servicing the tool.
Disconnect power supply before service.

of purchase. This warranty does not apply to damage due directly or indirectly, to misuse,

improper installation, normal wear and tear, or to lack of maintenance. We shall in no event
be liable for death, injuries to persons or property, or for incidental, contingent, special
or consequential damages arising from the use of our product. Some states do not allow
the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation
of exclusion may not apply to you. THIS WARRANTY IS EXPRESSLY IN LIEU OF ALL
OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE WARRANTIES OF

To take advantage of this warranty, the product or part must be returned to us with
transportation charges prepaid. Proof of purchase date and an explanation of the complaint
must accompany the merchandise. If our inspection veries the defect, we will either
repair or replace the product at our election or we may elect to refund the purchase price
if we cannot readily and quickly provide you with a replacement. We will return repaired
products at our expense, but if we determine there is no defect, or that the defect resulted
from causes not within the scope of our warranty, then you must bear the cost of returning
the product.
