from the screen, wipe it gently with a soft cloth. Stubborn stains
may be removed with a cloth slightly dampened with a sohltion of
mild soap and warm water. Never use clotl! or strong solvents such

AA batteries, 75-ohm coaxial cable (ferrite core attached), AC power cord,
AC power adaptor (KLV-SI5GI0 only), VESA adaptor (bracket A and B)
(KLV-SI5GI0 only), screws for bracket B (KLV-SI5GI0 only), Operating
Instructions, Quick Setup Guide, Leaflet (Installing the Wall-Mount Bracket

Before connecting the TV, you need to remove the rear cover flom tile TV as
illustrated below.

and B) to the TV when you attach the TV to the FDMI (Flat Display Mount
Interface) of VESA.
1 Remove the four screws illustrated below and remove the TV stand.

[] FREEZE Press to freeze the picture. The current program appears ill the sub screen when freeze is
selected. Press again to restore the picture. You can use this feature to write down inl\_rmation
such as phone nmnbers, recipes, etc. For details, see page 38.
[] TV/VIDEO Press repeatedly to cycle through the video equipment connected to the TV's video inputs.
[] - VOLUME + Press to adjust the volume.
[] - CHANNEL + Press to scan through channels. To scan quickly through channels, press and hold down either
CHANNEL.
[] POWER Press to turn oil and off the TV.
[] POWER LED Lights up in green when the TV is turned oil. The LED does not light up when the main power
is turned off.
[] TIMER LED When lit, indicates the Sleep timer is set. For details, see page 39. If the LED blinks in red
continuously, this may indicate the display unit needs servicing (see "Contacting Sony" on
page 2).
[] (IR) Infrared Receives IR signals from the remote control.

To display clear crisp pictures, first you must connect your TV correctly and
also need to choose tile correct display format (see "16:9 Enhanced" in
"Using the Setup Menu" on page 52). It is strongly recommended to connect
tile antenna using tile supplied 75-ohm coaxial cable to receive optimum
picture quality signal. A 300-ohm twin lead cable can be easily affected by _"
radio noise and the like, resulting in signal deterioration. If you use a 300- .._
ohm twin lead cable, keep it as far away as possible from the TV.
