Itisimportantthatthisappliancebehandledbys k illedandaptpersons(physicallyandmentally)having
received the instructions for use beforehand (through reading these instructions). All persons not
meetingthesecriteriamustnotappr oachtheapplianceinordertoavoidexposuretodangerousparts.
Iftheappliancesuffersamalfunction:donottrytorepairtheapplianceyourself,contactyou
rinstaller.
Only connect the control box to a power outlet protected by a 30 mA maximum ground fault circuit
breaker(ifindoubtcontactaqualifiedelectrician).
Make sure that the power socket is permanently and easily accessible and sheltered from rain and
splashing
water.
Thecontrolboxmustnotbeinstalledinafloodablearea.
Install the control box at least 3.5 meters from the pool edge and avoid exposing it to direct sunlight.
Preferablyinacool,ventilatedandshadedarea.
Do not allow bathing
when the cleaner is in the pool. If the control box falls into the water it is
imperativethatyouremovethepowersupplybeforeretrievingit.
In order to avoid risks of electrocution never open the electronic control box. Contact a qualified
technician.
Neverattempttorepair
thepowersupplycable.Contactyourresellertoreplaceitwithanoriginalpart
toavoidanyhazards.
Disconnect the power supply cable before any cleaning, maintenance or service operations and after
eachuse.
The cleaner must operate in pool water having the following characteristics: Chlorine < 3 mg/l, pH
between6.8
and7.6,temperaturebetween15°Cand35°C.
Donotoperatethecleaneroutofthewater.
Incorrect installation oruse may cause serious damage to property or serious injuries(possibly causing
death).
Keeptheapplianceoutofthereachofchildren.

The surface of certain vinyl patterned surfaces can wear rapidly and the patterns disappear on contact
from objects such as cleaning brushes, toys, inflatable buoys, chlorine distributors and automatic pool

frictionsuchasthrough
theuseof apoolbrush.Thecolours of certainpatternscanalsobeerasedduringuseorwhenin contact

2.1RECOMMENDATIONS
Useyourcleanerrobotasoftenaspossible.Youwillbenefitfromapoolthatisalwayscleanandthefilterbagwill
takelongertoclogup.
Therobotisdesignedtoworkinaswimmingpoolwhosewaterqualityisasfollows:chlorine<2mg/l,Ph

Donotallowanyonetousethepoolwhentherobotisinit.
Ifyoupresstheb uttonforthecyclethatis alreadyrunning,there
isnochangeintheprogramme.
Waitforapproximately1/4ofan hour afterthe endof the cyclebefore removing therobotfromthe
water.

3.CLEANINGANDMAINTENANCE
3.1CLEANINGTHEFILTERBAG
Werecommendthatyoucleanthefilterbagattheendofeachcycle.
Makesurethatthepowersupplycablehasbeendisconnectedfromthemainsplugorthatthefloatingcable
hasbeendisconnectedfromthepowerunit.
Removetherobotfromthewaterandlayitupsidedownonthepoolside,therebyofferingaccesstothe
filterholderplate
locatedbeneaththerobot.Figure8.
Undothe4hooksthatholdtheplateinplace.Removeit,whilstholdingitupsidedownsothatthedirtremains
inthebag.Figure9.
Releasethe2plasticblockingclipstore
movethebag.Figure10.
Carefullyremovetheelasticfromthebaseofthefilterandthenremoveitfromthefilterholderplate.Figure
11.
Emptythebagandcleanitwithrunningwaterorifnecessarywithslightlysoapywater.Ifyouusesoap,rinseit
thoroughlywhilstturningitover.Youcanalsomachi
newashit,followingtheinstructionsgivenonthelabel
insidethebag.
Alsorinsethefilterholderplateandremoveanydirtcaughtundertheflaps.
Replacethefilterbagbypositioningtheknotontheholderelasticatthecentreofth
efilterholderandthe
cornersofthebagagainstthecornersofthemetallicrods.TheZodiaclabelshouldbelocatedalongsidearod.
Positiontheplasticclipsatthetopoftherods.
Replacethefilterholderandclickitintoplace.
3.2CLEANINGANDSTORINGTHEROBOT
Therobotmustbecleanedregularlywithcleanorslightlysoapywater.
Solutionssuchastrichlorethyleneorsimilarmustonnoaccountbeused.Rinsethoroughlyincleanwater.
Donotleaveyourrobottodryinthesunbythepool.
Noneoftheexternalmechanicalcomponentsthatareaccessibletotheuserrequireoiling.
Therobotmustbestoredonthetrolleydesignedspecificallyfor
thistasksothatthefoampadsdonot
deteriorateandtherobotdriesquickly.
3.3CHANGINGTHEPADS
1.TherobotisfittedwithSEBSrubberpads.
Therubberpadsincludewearindicators.Toensureyourcleaneralwaysworksatitsbest,youmustreplacethe
rubberpadsassoonasoneofthewearindicatorsisreached(eveniftheribshaven’twornevenly).Figure12.
Tochangethepads,proceedasfollows:
Turntherobotupsidedown.
Takethetabsoutfromtheslotsinthefirstpad.
Takeoutthewornpad.
Toputthenewpadin,threadthepartwithoutbladesaroundthepadsupport.Inserteachtabintoitsslotand
pullgentlyonthebladessothattheendcomesoutatth

3.4RECYCLING
Whenthissymbolismentionedonanappliance,itmeansthattheequipmentmustnotbedisposedof
casually.Itwillbecollectedselectivelysothatitcanbereused,recycledorrecovered.Anysubstances
itmaycontainwhicharepotentiallydangeroustotheenvironmentwillbeeliminatedorneutralised.
Enquirewithyourretailerfortheconditionsthatappl
ytotherecyclingofyourproductandtothe
organisationsthatcanhandleitsrecycling.
4.AJUSTINGTHEWEIGHTS
Itmaybenecessarytoadjusttherobot’sweightstoimproveitsefficiency:

‐Therobotdoesnotriseonthesides:removeoneormoreweights.

5.TROUBLESHOOTINGS
5.1.Therobotisnotproperlyhuggingthebottomofthepool
Thereisstillsomeairtrappedintheappliance’sshell.Repeatthestepsoftheimmersionprocess,carefully
respectingtheinstructionsgiveninsection“Immersionoftherobot”.
Turntherobotoverwhilstholdingitunderthewatersothatthetrappedaircan escape.
5.2.Therobotwillnot(ornolonger)climbthewalls
Therecanbe3reasonsforthis:
Thefilterbagisfullorcloggedup:simplycleanit.
Thehoseweightinglevelisnot correct.SeechapterADJUSTINGTHEWEIGHTS.
Althoughthewaterseemsclear,yourpoolcontainsmicroscopicalgae(notvisibletothenakedeye),whichare
makingthesidesslipperyandarepreven
tingtherobotfromclimbingthem.Inthiscase,carryoutanexpress
chlorinationsessionandslightlylowerthepHlevel.
Donotleavetherobotinthewaterduringtheexpresstreatment.
5.3.Whenstarting,therobotisnotmovingatall
Checkthatthecontrolunit’smainsplugisfunctioningcorrectly.
CheckthatyouhaveindeedstartedaPerfectorTurbocleaningcycle.Iftheproblempersists,contactyour
retailer.
