3.1 VESA mount installation
Overview
The display supports arm stands according to the VESA 600 mm & 200 mm standard.
CAUTION: Use an arm/suspension system that is approved by VESA.
CAUTION: The monitor VESA interface has been designed for a safety factor 6 (to support 6 times
the monitor weight). In the medical system, use an arm with suitable safety factor (IEC606011).
To mount the display to an arm stand
1. Attach the arm stand firmly to the arm/suspension system using the 6 screws (M6 x 12 mm) related to the
VESA standard used (VESA 200mm or 600mm).
600mm VESA
200mm VESA
200mm VESA
Image 3-1
CAUTION: The 12 screws included with this display (M6 x 12 mm) can be used for an external
VESA arm/suspension interface with a thickness of up to 4 mm.
If, due to the thickness of the external VESA arm interface (=V), the length of the provided screws
(=L) is not suitable, consider the following rule:
L
min
= V + 8mm
L
max
= V + 15mm
WARNING: The IP protection rating of the display is guaranteed only if the 12 VESA holes are
closed (e.g. using the screws provided with the display).
3.2 Video input connection
WARNING: When the display is assembled in the medical system, take care of the fixation of all
cables, to avoid unwanted detachment.
