FMI STL-12D is a square top termination designed to be used with chimney systems. It features a 16.5" diameter hole with a 2" collar, allowing it to fit over the end of a chimney pipe. The termination cap is secured with sheet metal screws, ensuring a tight and durable fit.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
ETL-12D, ETL-12DMP, STL-12D AND STL-12DMP
1. Construct chase as illustrated in Figure 1.
Note: The shortest vertical side must be at least 30" high
and minimum inside dimension must be at least 19" as
shown in Figure 1.
2. Addpipesectionstochimneysystemasoutlinedinre-
place installation instructions until last piece of chimney
is a maximum of 6" below top of chase (see Figure 1).
3. Fabricateaashinghavinga16.5"diameterholecen-
teredoverchimneyendwitha2"collararoundhole(see
Figure 2). Attach noncombustible spacers at each corner
andplaceashingoverchase.
4. Secureashingthroughsideswith8-pennynailsorsheet
rock screws.
5. Place galvanized sleeve through hole in ashing and
around last section of chimney (see Figure 3).
6. Place termination cap over opening and slip stainless
steel inner pipe into stainless steel chimney section.
Lowerterminationassemblyuntilcaprestsevenlyover
ashinghole.Securecapateachcornerwithsheetmetal
screws (see Figure 4).
