PRIOR TO INSTALLATION
Read these instructions before beginning the installation
Make sure kit is complete before beginning installation
Ensure you have the correct TrailFX fender flares for your vehicle before beginning the installation process.
NOTE: The flares are embossed with either a D or P indicating Passenger or Driver. Make sure you match the correct
flare to the side of the vehicle you are installing.
If you plan on painting your fender flares it must be done prior to installation. All surfaces must be cleaned and prepped
following the specifications outlined by the paint manufacturer.
PLEASE NOTE: Painted flares cannot be returned.
INSTALLING RUBBER TRIM ON NEW FENDER FLARES
Install the rubber edge trim on the outer edge of the fender flare. The outer edge is the side that comes into contact with the
vehicle’s fender. It DOES NOT get installed on the inner edge of the fender flare.
INSTALLTION OF BUTTON HEAD STAINLESS STEEL BOLTS
Step 1
Starting at one end of the flare, push the rubber trim (E)
onto the outside edge only of flare.
Step 2
Continue pressing the rubber trim (E) on to the flare in
6” increments until you reach the other end of the flare.
Repeat for the other 3 flares.
Step 1
Locate the supplied Button head stainless steel bolts (F) and nylon jam nuts (G). Install one Button head stainless steel
bolts (F) in one of the holes in the recess of the flares as shown above in the two images.

INSTALLING FRONT FENDER FLARES
Step 2
Proceed to the inside of the flare. Place a nylon jam nut (G) on the threads of the Button head stainless steel bolts and
tighten. Use a 13mm socket with an extension and a 4.5mm Hex key to as shown above in the two images to complete the
task.
Note: These bolts are decorative only and are not intended for securing the flares
Step 1
Locate 4 factory screws on the inner wall of the wheel
well lip. Using 7/32” socket remove screws in position #1-
3. With 2mm Philips head screw driver remove 4mm
screw, set aside 1-3mm screws for later use. Discard
4mm screws.

Step 2
Using step 1 image as a reference slide a supplied speed
clip (C) over the factory hole in #4 positions. NOTE: Make
sure to center speed clip hole over factory hole.

INSTALLING REAR FENDER FLARES
NOTE: Rear flares must be oriented correctly. Look behind the flare to find a D or P embossed on the flare. Be sure to
install the one marked with a D on the driver side of the vehicle and the one marked P on the passenger side of the
vehicle.
Step 4
Install supplied Philip screw (D) on to #4 positions,
Repeat step 1-4 to complete installation for the other side
of vehicle.
Step 3
Place front fender flare (A) on to vehicle fender.
Firmly press flare against fender and reinstall factory
screws 1-3mm using 7/32 socket.

Step 1
Locate 4 factory screws on the inner wall of the wheel
well lip. Using 7/32” socket remove screws in position 1-
3mm . With a #2 Philips head screw driver remove 4mm
screw. Discard hardware.

Step 2
With all factory screws removed; proceed to install four
supplied speed clips (C) over factory holes. NOTE:
Make sure to center factory speed clip holes over factory
holes.

Step 3
Place rear fender flare (B) on to vehicle fender. Adjust
flare until holes in the flare are centered over the hole in
the speed clip. Apply firm pressure against the flare and
Install supplied Philip screw (D) onto all 4 locations.
Repeat step 1-3 to complete installation other side of the
vehicle.

Please ensure that all required mounting brackets / hardware’s are installed & tighten correctly.
