Coupling / Trailer Plugs
YOUR COUPLING
The Retreat Whitsunday is itted with a 50mm Ball Coupling as pictured. Its important that
you have ample grease on your ball and when the Jockey Wheel is disconnected that the
safety lock latch has engaged

The Retreat Whitsunday is itted with a 12 Pin Plug that operates your Brakes, Lights Fridge
etc as well as an Anderson Plug designed to charge your caravans batteries whilst towing and
also a reverse camera lead that connects to your car to view via your supplied monitor.

STABILISER LEGS
The Retreat Whitsunday is itted with a Gas Bayonet
which can be located on the door side of your
caravan underneath the tunnel boot access door
(attached to the chassis)
The Retreat Whitsunday is itted with
4 Stabiliser legs that will keep you level, Simply
Pull the Leaver to release and adjust the leg
accordingly. To wind the leg down please use
the supplied Stabiliser Leg Winder Brace

Jacking Points / Water Supply
JACKING POINTS
The Retreat Whitsunday has 2 Jacking points which
are welded to the chassis, the location of these
points may change depending on Size and layout.
Retreat have also supplied you a Jack to assist
which is located under your bed.

USING YOUR WATER SUPPLY
The Retreat Whitsunday is itted with water iller inlet and mains iller inlet
Both items are located on the rear oside of the caravan.
To use the water iller inlet simply just insert a hose in to the iller and your tanks will continue
to ill. This is generally used when not onsite.
To use the mains iller simply connect a tap itting to the mains iller and connect the hose to
the tap itting and turn the tap on. This option will give you continuous water. This option is
used when on site (ensure your water pump is turned o for this option to work)

REAR VIEW CAMERA
The Retreat Whitsunday is itted with a Rear View
Camera. This camera will be wired thru the caravan
and have a connection plug at the end of your wiring
loom. Simply install or have installed your supplied
car wiring loom to visualise the picture displayed on
your supplied monitor.

SWITCHES IN THE KITCHEN
These switches will all be in an overhead cupboard or next to the Rangehood
Water Pump Switch
will allow you to
utilize the water
o the 12vlt pump

SOUND SETUP
SOUND HEAD UNIT AND OUTSIDE SPEAKERS
All Retreat Caravans have a Multi Media Player
as a Sound / Entertainment Unit. This unit has
the capability to play music via USB, AUX and
Bluetooth. This unit will also Play DVD.

The Switch located inside the Overhead
Cupboard near the Radio is the on / o switch
to activate / deactivate the outside speakers, it
looks like the switch pictured above

ADDITIONAL SWITCHES
The Whitsunday comes standard with a 190lt 3 way
fridge that has its own isolation switch.
When you are using your caravan turn this switch on,
this will give your fridge power.
When your caravan is in storage turn this switch o as
you will eliminate any power being drawn from your
house battery
This Switch will be located above your fridge either in a
cupboard or on the facia (depending on layout)
Or in the cupboard with the other switched combined
with the water pump switch
The Whitsunday will have the switch on the
right located in the bedroom, Ensuite.
The Top Switch will illuminate the White LEDs
The Bottom Switch will illuminate the Blue LEDs

BRAKESAFE SYSTEM
Prior to travel please push the blue button “Press” to
indicate whether the Brakesafe battery has suicient
charge. If a green light appears to the right of the
“Press” button you are good to travel. If a red light
appears to the right of the “Press” button you need to
charge the Brakesafe further.
The Brakesafe will be located on the Battery Board of a
Front Boot Model, or in the oside bedside cupboard in
a No Front Boot Model
*Please Note*
Black Switch #1 to be left “on” During Travel
to ensure Brakesafe is Operating
BATTERY CHARGERMONITOR
All Retreat Whitsunday Models are itted with a 25amp
charger. This will also come with a Remote Monitor as
pictured above.
The Remote Monitor will be located in the Overhead
Cupboard and will enable the customer to alter the Charge
Rate as well as see the current voltage in the batteries.
Location of the Charger may vary however it will be generally
located inside the kitchen cupboard or under a seat.

UNDERSTANDING YOUR
SOLAR CONTROLLER
The Whitsunday model is itted with a solar con-
troller that will be located either on the battery
board of a front boot model of a caravan or in the
overhead cupboard of a no front boot model.
Retreat Caravans has set the controller to be self
suicient, if you would like to alter any settings
please read your information booklet supplied:

If there is no illumination on this arrow and there
is sun hitting the panels please check the fuse as
pictured to the right on the battery board for front
boot models or at the battery board for the No
front boot models
Retreat recommend the Load is left on as well as the Black isolation

Retreat does NOT recommend altering
the settings on the unit for best results

To ensure your DVD viewing has no issue please follow these instructions
Ensure your 12vlt charger
is plugged in to avoid TV
running out of power
Insert your DVD into the
slot and the DVD will load
automatically for viewing
This Unit also plays Radio, CD and
Bluetooth Music. Please See your
instruction manual for more detail

into the Wynguard Wall Plate as well as in

EXTERNAL TV CONNECTION
If you would like to watch TV outside please do the Following:
See below for Labels for the Door side of your Caravan:
Bring your TV Outside with the Supplied Base installed
Fold Down your Outside Table
Place the TV on the Outside Table
Connect a power source 240 volt or 12 volt
Ensure the Booster on the Jack Wall Plate is illuminated
Connect an Antenna lead from the TV to the External TV Point
Tune TV if Necessary

ENSUITE CARAVAN TOILET
OPERATION
Ensure the water pump is on and press the blue
button to allow water into the toilet bowl. Please
only ill as much as is needed, overilling may cause
the water to splash up when lushing
Slide the lushing lever once you are inished
and this will deliver the waste to the toilet
cartridge
Remove your cartridge from the outside
hatch and take to a dumping station to dump

All Retreat Whitsunday Models are itted with a Top Load Washing Machine
(Bunk Vans Middle Ensuite Layouts have a Front Loader).
To ensure they work please connect the washing machine to the PowerPoint
nearest to the washing machine and turn on.
Please note that the Washing Machines are
Cold Water Only and DO NOT operate on 12 volt.

Way (Gas, Elec, 12 volt Fridge)
The Control Panel is between the 2 doors
