CuttingGrass
•Grassgrowsatdifferentratesatdifferenttimesofthe
year.Inthesummerheat,itisbesttocutgrassatthe
64mm(2-1/2inch),76mm(3inch),or89mm(3-1/2
inch)cutting-heightsettings.Cutonlyaboutathirdof
thegrassbladeatatime.Donotcutbelowthe64mm
(2-1/2-inch)settingunlessthegrassissparseoritislate
fallwhengrassgrowthbeginstoslowdown.
•Whencuttinggrassover15cm(6inches)tall,rstmow
atthehighestcuttingheightsettingandwalkslower;then
mowagainatalowersettingforthebestlawnappearance.
Ifthegrassistoolongandtheleavesclumpontopofthe
lawn,themachinemayplugandcausetheenginetostall.
•Alternatethemowingdirection.Thishelpsdispersethe
clippingsoverthelawnforevenfertilization.
