In addition to the standard video door entry system and CCTV functions, the
video handset also offers the possibility of interacting with your My Home system.
Fitting in with My Home.
Scenarios:
Runs the scenarios saved in the Scenario module.
Alarms:
Signals the last alarm events which have occurred and the division of the system.
1.1 General information
1 Introduction and basic functions
Improper use of the video handset and all connected devices will
void all warranties.
For cleaning only use a damp or antistatic cloth. Avoid the use of
alcohol or chemical detergents
LCD screen note
The LCD screen has been manufactured using advanced high preci-
sion technology. It is however possible that sometimes up to 5 small
black or coloured dots (red, blue, green) may appear on the LCD scre-
en. This is an absolutely normal result of the manufacturing process
and is not indicative of a malfunction and/or fault.
1.2 Your video handset: use it immediately!
1 - Microphone.
2 - Colour LCD display; displays the menus which guide the use and programming
operation, shows the pictures taken by the entrance panel or other cameras.
3 - Navigation keypad; navigates inside the menus, confirms (OK key) or cancels (C
key) the programming operations.
4 - Switch ON entrance panel and cycling key.
5 - Connection key; activates/deactivates the sound connection.
6 - Connection LED.
7 - Loudspeaker.
8 - Door lock LED.
9 - Door lock key; activates the electric door lock of the associated or connected
entrance panel.
10 - Answering machine status notification LED.
11 - Pushbutton for enabling/disabling the answering machine function.
12 - Call bell exclusion LED.
It lights up when the bell volume is set to 0.

ON/OFF
Enable/disable the video door entry answering ma-
chine (the red LED indicates activation).
NOTE 1: all answering machine functions are managed
by menù, access by a dedicated icon on menù.
NOTE 2: inside one single apartment,it is possible to acti-
vate ONLY ONE answering machine.
OK Key
Allows access to the menu; confirms the selection
made.
C Key
Returns to the previous screen, if already on the first
screen, it can be used to turn the display off; during a
call, it can be used to switch from day to night mode,
and vice versa (see paragraph 2.3).
keys
Inside the menu they select the previous or next item.
- + Keys
Inside the menu they change the value set.
In audio/video connection they allow rapid access to
the volume and monitor settings.
Door lock key
When there is a call it opens the door lock of the En-
trance Panel from which the call was made, at rest that
of the associated Entrance Panel. The LED signals that
it is activated.
Connection key
Activates/deactivates the audio connection.
When a call has been received the LED flashes; press
once to answer: the LED shines steadily.
At rest activates the paging function (if enabled).
Activation Entrance Panel/Cycling
It activates the switching on of the associated Entrance
Panel and, if present, allows the cycling display of the
other Entrance Panels/cameras.

Two possible solutions for drawing up the main menu are given below:
• menu with COMMUNICATION functions;
• menu with HOME AUTOMATION functions;

2.2 Volume adjustment
EP SOUND = sound volume when talking to the entrance panel.
INTERCOM = sound volume when holding an intercom conversation.
BELLS = volume level for all the bells.

It is possible to select two different adjustments, one for day viewing and one
for night viewing; to switch from one mode to the other press C during the
video door entry call.
NOTE: During a video door entry call you can access the Adjustments menu
directly by pressing the - or + key.

You can associate one of sixteen tunes to each call event.

The submenu can only be accessed if there
are messages.
The list of recorded messages is displayed.

With this function it is possible to save and play back any audio and video mes-
sages left from visitors in case of absence; it is also possible to record an audio
message directly from the handset (Memo function).
To activate de function press M. The red LED comes on to indicate that the an-
swering machine is active. Press the same key to disable. The red LED will flash
if messages are present.
Calls from an entrance panel can be answered also when the answering ma-
chine is active.

This function can be used to record an audio message directly from the handset.

To record a Welcome message:
A BEEP will mark the start of recording.
It is now possible to record a wel-
come message up to 8 seconds long.
A BEEP will indicate end of the re-
cording.
