whenever an appliance is used
near children.
~Unplug from outlet when not in use,
before putting on or taking off
parts, and before cleaning.
~Avoid contacting moving parts.
~Keep hands, hair and clothing, as
well as spatulas and other utensils,
away from beaters during operation
to reduce the risk of personal injury
and/or damage to the mixer.

table or counter.
~Do not let cord contact hot surfaces,
including the stove.
~Remove beaters from mixer before
washing.
~Keep hands and utensils away from
the cutting blade while chopping
food to reduce the risk of severe in-
jury to persons or damage to the
food chopper. A scraper may be
used but only when the food chop-
per is not running.
~Blade is sharp. Handle carefully.
~To reduce the risk of injury, never
place cutting blade on base without

~Disconnect the mains plug from the
outlet…
if there is a glitch,
when you are not using
the hand mixer / multi-
chopper,
during thunderstorms.
~Do not use the device if there is vis-
ible damage to the device or the
power cable.
~
To avoid any risk, do not make modi-
fications to the device.
Risk from rotating parts
~Do not touch rotating parts with
spoons or other utensils. Keep long
hair or loose clothing away from
rotating parts as well.
~Always ensure that the on/off
switch is on 0 or the symbol be-
fore you plug the device into the
outlet.
~
Switch off the device and remove
the mains plug from the outlet before
you change accessories or addition-
al equipment moving in operation.
Risk of injury from cutting
~The blade assembly is sharp. Han-
dle it with care. When cleaning
manually, the water should be suffi-
ciently clear that you can see the
blades easily.
~The multi-chopper must never be
operated without the jug.
~Never reach in toward the rotating
blades.
~The blade assembly continues to ro-
tate even after the device is
switched off. Wait for it to stop
moving before you remove the
working cover.
Risk of material damage
~In order to prevent damage to the
device, interrupt operation immedi-
ately if the blade assembly, dough
hooks or beaters are either turning
with difficulty or not turning at all.
Unplug the device and check
whether something in the jug is
blocking movement or whether the
food is too tough or too hard. Also
check whether the device is assem-
bled correctly.
~For the multi-chopper, the maximum
fill volume is 32 oz for liquids. For
solid food, please familiarize your-

~Never place the device on hot sur-
faces (e.g., hot plates) or near heat
sources or open fire.

liquids or during the cooking pro-
cess.
~Only hold the device by the handle
and never, under any circumstanc-

~Do not operate the multi-chopper
when it is empty, as this causes the
motor to overheat, which may re-
sult in it being damaged.
~Only use the original accessories.
~
All parts, except for the hand mixer
(motor unit), are dishwasher-safe up
to 158 °F.
~Do not use any astringent or abra-
sive cleaning agents.
~The device is equipped with an
anti-slip mat made from silicone.
Because furniture is coated with a
variety of different varnishes and
acrylics, and is treated with differ-
ent cleaning agents, it cannot be
completely ruled out that compo-
nents are contained in some of
these substances which could dam-
age and soften the anti-slip mat. If
necessary, place a nonslip mat un-
der the device.

Processing table
TIP: the processing times and speeds
specified here are guidelines.
Depending on the quantities and con-
sistency of the foods, the actual val-
ues may differ.
Repeatedly check the results, de-
pending on how small you want to
chop the food.
Work using short pulses (1 pulse:
press for approx. 1 second).
8.1 Assembling the multi-
chopper
~Depending on the hardness and
consistency of the food, do not fill
the jug|16 up to the maximum lev-
el, as this can cause the blade as-
sembly|17 to become blocked. Pay
attention here to the guideline val-
ues for various foods in section
Processing table“.
1. Figure B: turn the cover|13 to the
hand mixer|6 in the direction of the
open lock symbol and remove
it.
2. Figure D: place the jug|16 on the
anti-slip mat|19.
3. Place the blade assembly|17 on
the peg|18 in the jug.
4. Put the prepared food into the
jug|16.
5. Place the working cover|15 on the
jug|16 and press it down to a tight
fit. If the working cover cannot be
pressed down, lift it and turn it a lit-
tle bit.
6. Place the hand mixer|6 with the

8.2 Chopping
Risk of material damage
~As a multi-chopper, the device is
designed for a maximum operating
time of 60 seconds without inter-
ruption.
After this, the device must remain
switched off until it has cooled
down to room temperature.
TIP: the on/off switch|9 must be set to
the symbol , so that the multi-chopper
can be switched on using the TURBO
pulse button|8. The levels 1-6 do not
function for the multi-chopper.
Turn the on/off switch|9 to the
symbol .
For chopping, keep the TURBO
pulse button|8 pressed.
In order to switch off the multi-chop-
per, release the TURBO pulse but-
ton|8.
Work using short pulses (1 pulse:
press for approx. 1 second). The
number and length of the pulses
will depend on the quantity and
consistency of the food. See the
specifications given in section Pro-
cessing table“.
Repeatedly check the result. If the
food is not being chopped evenly:
- Pull out the mains plug|5.
- Rotate the hand mixer|6 clock-
wise and then remove it.
- Thoroughly shake the jug|16.
- If food is sticking to the inside
wall of the jug, remove the work-
ing cover|15. Push the pieces
downward using a spatula.
- Put all the pieces back together
before you reinsert the mains
plug|5 into an outlet and resume
processing.
8.3 Remove food and
disassemble the multi-
chopper
1. Disconnect the mains plug|5 from
the outlet and wait for the blade
assembly|17 to stop moving.
2. Rotate the hand mixer|6 clockwise
and then remove it.
3. Remove the working cover|15 by
lifting it up.
4. Carefully remove the blade assem-
bly|17 from the jug|16.
5. Remove the food, e.g., using a
spatula.
6. Clean the device as soon as possi-
ble after use.
7. Figure B: put the cover|13 back
on the hand mixer connection|14.
To do this, press the cover down
with force and turn it in the direc-
tion of the closed lock symbol
until the cover fits tightly.
TIP: the cover|13 must be locked if you
want to use the device as a hand mixer.

9. Cleaning
Disassembling/assembling the
blade assembly
Risk of injury from cutting
~The blade assembly|17 is sharp.
Handle it with care.
The blade assembly|17 comprises two
parts. For thorough cleaning, these can
be taken apart.
1. Hold the blade assembly as shown
so that you do not reach over the
blades.
2. To disassemble, rotate the outer
part|21 a little in the direction of
the arrow (see figure), which
enables you to carefully slide it
downwards off the inner part|20.
TIP: if you rotate the outer part|21 fur-
ther to the end stop, you cannot disas-
semble the parts.
1. To assemble, slide the outer
part|21 onto the inner part|20.
Ensure that the two small ridges on
the outer part fit into the recesses of
the inner part as shown.
2. Rotate the outer part|21 in the
direction of the arrow (see figure)
to the end stop. For optimal func-
tion, the blades should be roughly
at a right angle to each other when
viewed from above.
TIP: if you rotate the outer part|21 in
the wrong direction, the blades are ar-
ranged on top of each other.
Clean the device prior to its first
use!
Risk of electric shock
~The hand mixer|6 and the power
cable with mains plug|5 must not
be immersed into water or other
liquids.
~Pull out the mains plug|5 before
cleaning.
