BEFORE BEGINNING
Open the boxes
You are now ready to open the boxes
of your new equipment. Make sure
to inventory all of the parts that are
included in the boxes. Check the
Parts List for a full count of the
number of parts included for this
product to be assembled properly.
If you are missing any parts or have
any assembly questions contact your
local Smooth Retailer.
Gather your tools
Before starting the assembly of
your unit, make sure that you have
gathered all the necessary tools you
may require to assemble the unit
properly. Having all of the necessary
equipment at hand will save time
and make the assembly quick and
hassle-free.
Clear your work area
Make sure that you have cleared
away a large enough space to
properly assemble the unit. Make
sure space is flat, level and free from
anything that may cause injury during
assembly. After the unit is fully
assembled, make sure there is a
comfortable amount of free area
around the unit for unobstructed
operation.

Step 1:
Only hand tighten fasteners for
now. You will be prompted to fully
tighten all fasteners later.
Place the Base Frame (1) on the floor
and cap the ends with two 2” x 3” Rect
End Caps (56). Cap the Front
Stabilizer (2) with two 2” x 3” Rect End
Caps (56). Cap the Front Extension
(3) with the 2” Sq End Cap (57).
Attach the Front Stabilizer (2) and the
Front Extension (3) to the Base Frame
(1) using two 1/2” x 4” Hex Head Bolts
(77), four 1/2” Washers (95) and two
1/2” Nylon Nuts (99).
Attach the Press Upright (4) to the
Front Stabilizer (2) using two 1/2”
Washers (95) and two 1/2” Nylon Nuts
(99). Thread the Pop Pin (71) into the
Press Upright (4).
Cap the Pec Dec Upright (5) with the
2” x 3” Rect End Cap (58) and the 2”
Sq End Cap (60). Attach the Pec Dec
Upright (5) to the Base Frame (1)
using two 1/2” Washers (95) and two
1/2” Nylon Nuts (99).
Attach the Top Frame (7) to the Press
Upright (4) and the Pec Dec Upright
(5) using four 1/2” x 4” Hex Head Bolts
(77), eight 1/2” Washers (95) and four
1/2” Nylon Nuts (99).

Step 2:
Cap the Top Frame (7) with two 2” x 3”
Rect End Caps (58). Insert two 3/4”
Bushings (67) into the sleeve on the Top
Frame (7). Attach the Lat Bar Holder (8)
to the Top Frame (7) using two 3/8” x 3”
Hex Head Bolts (83), four 3/8” Washers
(96) and two 3/8” Nylon Nuts (100).
Thread two Adj Stoppers (66) into the
Top Frame (7)
Attach the Pec Deck Back Pad (42) to
the Pec Dec Upright (5) using two 3/8”
x 3-1/2”Hex Head Bolts (82) and two
3/8” Washers (96). thread one Adj
Stopper (66) into the Pec Deck Upright
(5).
Slide the Back Pad Hinges (15) onto the
Adj Back Bracket (14). Attach the Back
Pad (43) to the Back Pad Hinges (14)
using two 3/8” x 3/4” Hex Head Bolts
(88) and two 3/8” Washers (96). Attach
the Adj Back Bracket (14) to the Press
Upright (4) using one 3/8” x 3” Hex Head
Bolt (83), two 3/8” Washers (96) and one
3/8” Nylon Nut (100). Insert the Bolster
(33) into the sleeve on the Adj Back
Brakcet (14) then tighten with the 5/16”
x 8” Set Screw (93). Slide two 4” Foam
Pads (48) onto the Bolster (33) then cap
with a 1” Round End Plug (61) at each
end. If the Foam Pads (48) are dificult
to slide onto the Bolster (33) try applying
a small amount of soapy water to the
Bolster (33) prior to sliding on the pads.

Step 3:
Insert four 1” Plastic Bushings
(62) into the holes on the Base
Frame (1). Slide one Rubber
Doughnut (52) onto each Guide
Rod (9). Insert a Guide Rod (9)
into each of the 1” Plastic
Bushings (62) you inserted into
the Base Frame (1).
Carefully stack the Weight Plates
(12) one at a time by lifting them
to the top of the Guide Rods (9),
inserting the rods through the
holes in the weights and then
slowly lowering each weight
down.
Attach each Select Rod (11) to
each Top Plate (10) using one
Top Plate Bolt (76). Slide the Top
Plates (10) and the Select Rods
(11) over the Guide Rods (9).
Insert the Select Rods (11) into
the weight stacks and secure by
inserting one Select Pin (75).
Insert four 1” Plastic Bushings
(62) into holes in the Weight Stack
Top (13). Slide the Weight Stack
Top (13) over top of four Guide
Rods (9) and attach to the Top
Frame (7) using two 1/2” x 3” Hex
Head Bolts (79), four 1/2”
Washers (95) and two 1/2” Nylon
Nuts (99).

Step 4:
Cap the Leg Curl Support (16) with one
2” Sq End Cap (60). Attach the Leg
Curl Support (16) to the Front Extension
(3) using two 1/2” x 3-1/4” Hex Head
Bolts (79), four 1/2” Washers (95) and
two 1/2” Nylon Nuts (99). Attach the
Leg Curl Support (16) to the Press
Upright (4) using two 3/8” x 4” Hex Head
Bolts (81), four 3/8” Washers (96) and
two 3/8” Nylon Nuts (100).
Cap the Leg Curl Seat Arm (17) with 2”
Sq End Plugs (60). Slide the 1” x 5-
1/2” Hand Grips (51) onto the Seat
Handle Bars (18). If the Hand Grips
(51) are difficult to slide onto the Handle
Bars (18) try applying a small amount
of soapy water to the Handle Bars (18)
prior to sliding on the grips. Attach the
Seat Handle Bars (18) to the Leg Curl
Seat Arm (17) using two 3/8” x 3” Hex
Head Bolts (83), four 3/8” Washers (96)
and two 3/8” Nylon Nuts (100). Insert
the Leg Curl Seat Arm (17) into the Leg
Curl Support (16) and lock with the
Quick Release (70).

Step 5:
Insert the Bolster (33) into the sleeve on
the Leg Curl Seat Arm (17) and secure
with one 5/16” x 5/16” Set Screw (93).
Slide the 4” Foam Pads (48) onto the
Bolster (33) and cap each end with a 1”
Round End Plug (61). If the Foam Pads
(48) are difficult to slide onto the Bolster
(33) try applying a small amount of soapy
water to the Bolster (33) prior to sliding on
the pads.
Cap the Leg Curl (19) with two 2” Sq End
Plugs (60). Insert two 1/2” Bushings (68)
into the hole in Leg Curl (19). Attach the
Leg Curl (19) to the Leg Curl Support (16)
using the 1/2” Axle (78), two 5/16” Washers
(98), two 5/16” Spring Washers (101) and
two 5/16” x 5/8” Button Head Screws (102).
Insert the Bolster (33) into the sleeve on
the Leg Curl Seat Arm (17) and secure
with one 5/16” x 5/16” Set Screw (93).
Slide the 4” Foam Pads (48) onto the
Bolster (33) and cap each end with a 1”
Round End Plug (61).

Step 6:
Cap the Press Support (20) with four 2” Sq
End Caps (60). Attach the Press Support
(20) to the sleeve on the Top Frame (7)
using one Pivot Axle (35). Secure the Pivot
Axle (35) by tightening the two 3/8” x 1/2”
Sunken Head Screws (91).
Cap the Press Arm (21) with two 2” Sq End
Plugs (60). Slide the 1-1/4” Hand Grips
(49) onto handle bars on the Press Arm
(21). If the Hand Grips (49) are difficult to
slide onto the Press Arm (21) try applying
a small amount of soapy water to the Press
Arm (21) prior to sliding on the grips.
Attach the Press Arm (21) to the Press
Support (20) using one Pivot Axle (35).
Secure the Pivot Axle (35) by tightening the
two 3/8” x 1/2” Sunken Head Screws (91).

Step 7:
Cap the Pec Dec Seat Support (22) with
one 2” Sq End Plug (60) and two 1” Round
End Caps (72). Attach the Pec Dec Seat
Support (22) to Base Frame (1) using two
1/2” x 1-1/4” Hex Head Bolts (80) and two
1/2” Washers (95).
Cap the Pec Dec Seat Arm (23) with two
1” x 2” Rect End Plugs (59). Attach the
Seat Pad (44A) to the Pec Dec Seat Pad
(23) using two 3/8” x 1/2” Hex Head Bolts
(87) and two 3/8” Wahsers (96). Insert
the Pec Dec Seat Arm (23) into the Pec
Dec Seat Support (22) and lock with the
Quick Release (70).
Stick the four Nonslips (65) to the Row
Plate (24). Attach the Row Plate (24) to
the Pec Dec Seat Support (22) by inserting
the Row Plate Roller (34) and securing it
with one 3/8” x 1/2” Sunken Head Screw
(91). Cap the Row Plate Roller (34) with
two 1” Round End Plugs (63).

Step 8:
Attach Stoppers (64) to the Pec Dec
Support (25) using 5/16" x 1/2" Button
Head Screw (90). Insert four 3/4"
Bushings (67) into the sleeves on the
Pec Dec Support (25). Attach the Pec
Dec Support (25) to the Pec Dec
Upright (5) using two 1/2" x 4" Hex
Head Bolts (77), four 1/2" Washers
(95) and two 1/2" Nylon Nuts (99).
Insert the 1" Steel Bushing (69) into
the sleeve on Left & Right Pec Dec
Arms (26 & 27). Slide the Left & Right
Pec Dec Arms (26 & 27) to the Pec
Dec Support (25) using 3/8" Washers
(97) and 3/8" x 3/4" Hex Head Bolts
(88). Slide the Rubber Doughnuts
(53) onto the Pec Dec Row Bars (28).
Slide the 1" x 5-12" Hand Grips (51)
onto the Pec Dec Row Bars (28).
Slide the Pec Dec Row Bar (28) onto
the Left & Right Pec Dec Arms (26 &
27) and fix with "C" Clip (64).
Firmly tighten all bolts at this time.
ASSEMBLY
Step 9:
ROUTING THE TOP CABLE:
Assemble the cables and pulleys
simutaneously.
Insert the cable’s bolt end through pulley T1
(ball outside), over pulley T2, down and around
pulley T3, down and around pulley T4, over and
around pulley T5, down and around pulley T6,
over and around pulley T7, down and around
pulley T8, over and around pulley T9 and down
to the weight stack. Screw the Top Cable bolt
end into the select Rod (11) at least 7 threads.

Step 10:
ROUTING THE LEG CURL CABLE:
Insert the cable’s metal ball end through
pulley C1, over and around C2, down and
around pulley C3. Coutinue through pulley
C4, then attach the metal ball end to the
bracket on the Leg Curl (19).

Step 11:
ROUTING THE AB CABLE:
Insert the cable’s bolt end through
pulley A1 (ball outside), down and
around pulley A2, up and around pulley
A3, down and around pulley A4, up
and around pulley A5 and down to the
weigh stack. Screw the AB cable’s bolt
end into the Select Rod (11) at least
7 threads.
