For best results, install your safety lock [a] vertically, with the hook facing
upwards.
Alternatively, you can install your safety lock horizontally, with the hook
facing on its side.
Safety Lock Position
Your locks [a] are complete with two settings, active and de-active.
Flick the hook upwards to activate the lock mechanism.
Flick the hook downwards to deactivate the lock mechanism.
When the hook is set to close your cupboards will function as normal.

Step 4: Open your door or drawer and:
•Assess if you will apply the applicator [c]
to the top or to the side of your
cupboard wall.
•Ensure the safety catch [d] is facing your
cupboard wall.
•Firmly apply the applicator [c] to the
edge of the cupboard wall.
Step 3: Remove the 3M tape from both the
safety catch [d] and the dual setting safety
lock [a]

Your safety lock stickers [e] are a convenient way to help you unlock your
door or drawer even quicker! Use the tape, on the back of your twist and
release holder and attach your key to a high place.
Top Tip
Step 7: Flick the hook upwards to activate
the lock mechanism on your dual setting
safety lock [a].
Installation is complete!
Step 6: Open your door or drawer and for
best results:
•Remove the applicator [c].
•Apply firm pressure for 3 seconds, to
your dual setting safety lock [a].
•Apply firm pressure for 3 seconds, to
your safety catch [d].
Step 5: Close your door or drawer for 3
seconds.

No, these are optional for those who prefer to install the safety catches using
screws for support.
Q. Do I need to use the screws in the box?
Your locks are complete with two settings, active and de-active. By default,
your locks are set to de-active.
The hooks need to be set to active for your locks to work.
Q. My cupboard doors and drawers are not locking shut?
Your magnetic safety keys are complete with holder for protection.
Twist and release the holder from the key to improve your magnetic reach.
Q. Why are my magnetic safety keys not working?
Remember to apply significant pressure.
After application, the bond strength will increase as the adhesive flows
onto the surface.
At room temperature approximately 50% of ultimate bond strength will be
achieved after 20 minutes.
90% after 24 hours and 100% after 72 hours.
Q. My safety locks are not sticking strong enough?
