•Readcarefullytheseinstructionsbeforeusing
the appliance for the first time and keep it
for future enquiries.
•Keepallplasticbagsandpackagingcomponents
outofthereachofchildren.Theyarepotentially
dangerous.
•Donotimmersetheapplianceinwaternor
placeitinwetsurfaces.
•Donotmaintainexposedtohightemperatures.
•Placethescaleonahorizontalrigidsurface.
•Cleanwithaslightlydampcloth.Donotuse
abrasiveorchemicalproducts.
•Ifyouaregoingtouseacontainertoweight,
first place it on the platform. Also you can
weightthefooddirectlyontheplatform.
•Push0/Iandwaituntil“0”isshowedonthe
display.Youcanchoosetheweighingsystem
in grams “g”, kilograms “kg”orpounds:ounces
“lb:oz”bypressingthe“unit”buttonplaced
atthebottomofthescale.Weigh.
•Youmayadditemstothosealreadyweighed
withoutremovingthembypressingTARA.
•Placeandremovetheitemswithcare.
•Theapplianceswitchesoffautomaticallya
fewsecondsafterweighing.
•Youmayswitchofftheappliancebypressing
0/Iforafewseconds.
•Thescalecanmeasurewaterandmilkin
millilitres (ml).
•Push0/Iandwaituntil“0”isshowedonthe
display.
•Bypressing“unit” pusher, select “WATER” if
youwanttomeasurewaterorselect“MILK”
ifyouwanttomeasuremilk.
•Placeabowlovertheplatform.Push0/I and
if necessary push TARAtoshow“0” on the
display,afterthatyoucanmeasurewateror
milk.
•Thescaleworkswith1lithiumbatteryof3
V.typeCR2032(included).
Removetheprotectionlabelfromthebattery
forthescaletowork.Ifnecessaryopenthe
lidofthebatterycompartment.
