If installation is prevented by a headrest, it must be set at the highest
position or removed (Fig. 11).
The kiddy phoenixfix pro 2’s adjustable backrest (C) ensures that it can rest
securely against the backrest of the car seat.
Position the vehicle’s reclining backrests accordingly.
5.2 Seat for universal installation
The child restraint system (A) kiddy phoenixfix pro 2 can be installed in
vehicles on any seat with a three-point restraint system (Fig. 12).
The kiddy phoenixfix pro 2 can also be used in rear-facing car seats that are
equipped with a three-point restraint system (Fig. 12).
If the car manufacturer allows child restraint systems on the passenger
seat, the seat should be moved to the position furthest back.
The connectors (D) must be retracted when the kiddy phoenixfix pro
2 is installed universal (without k-fix).
5.3 Seat for semi-universal installation
Semi-universal installation of the child restraint system is only possible on
car seats fitted with ISOFIX anchors. With the aid of the k-fix connectors, the
kiddy phoenixfix pro 2 can be securely fastened to the body of the vehicle by
using these ISOFIX anchor points.
The child restraint system (A) kiddy phoenixfix pro 2 can be installed in cars
and on seats that are mentioned in the list of approved vehicles.
This list is updated regularly, for the latest version, see
http://www.kiddy.de/content/files/phoenixfix.pdf
The manufacturer recommends, if possible, semi-universal installation of the
child restraint system (A) with the k-fix connectors.
