INSTALLATION (Cont’d)
Gas Conversion
1. Disconnect grill from gas and power.
2. Remove 4 Phillip screws holding front panel to grill.
3. Remove the front panel.
4. On the far left section, locate the pilot assembly and remove the two screws that hold it to
the grill.
5. Follow the aluminum tubing from that pilot assembly back to the gas valve and remove the
tubing from the valve using a 7/16” wrench.
6. Gripping the pilot bracket with a set of pliers and using a 7/16” wrench remove the tubing
from the pilot assembly. This should expose the pilot orifice.
7. Remove the old orifice and replace it with the new orifice.
8. Re-install the tubing to the pilot assembly.
9. Re-install tubing to the gas valve and re-attach pilot assembly to the grill.
10. Locate main burner tubing and remove it from the main burner using a ½” wrench.
11. Remove the main burner assembly from the grill.
12. Remove the old main burner orifice and replace it with the new main burner orifice.
13. Re-install the main burner assembly to the grill.
14. Re-install the tubing to the main burner assembly.
15. Repeat steps 4 though 14 for the remaining sections.
16. Place gas conversion sticker below serial tag.
17. Attach a manometer to the pressure tap located on the backside of the main gas manifold
line (from the back of the unit look underneath towards the front and to the right).
18. Locate regulator on the under side of the grill and remove the spring cap on the top of the
regulator (silver cylinder sticking up from the regulator).
19. Remove nylon spring cover and the old spring.
20. Re-install new spring and nylon spring cover and screw nylon spring cover all the way
down and then back it off two turns.
21. Re-connect grill to gas and power and check for leaks (see lighting procedures).
22. Turn all burners on and check manometer for correct gas pressure (5”W/C for NG and 10”
W/C for LP). Adjust gas pressures as necessary.
23. Re-attach spring cap to regulator.
24. Disconnect power and gas and remove manometer and re-attach pressure tap.
25. Re-connect power and gas, re-attach the front panel and test grill for normal operation.

Electrical Connection
The electrical connection must be made in accordance with local codes or in the
absence of local codes with NFPA No. 70 latest edition (in Canada use: CAS STD.
C22.2.
The electrical service entrance is provided by a three-prong cord and plug located
at the rear of the grill.
Each grill requires a 115-volt grounded supply.
WARNING
THIS APPLIANCE IS EQUIPPED WITH A THREE-PRONG (GROUNDING)
PLUG FOR YOUR PROTECTION AGAINST SHOCK HAZARD AND SHOULD
BE PLUGGED DIRECTLY INTO PROPERLY GROUNDED RECEPTACLE.
DO NOT CUT OR REMOVE THE GROUNDING PRONG FROM THIS PLUG.
