Trident MC1 is a rugged wireless headset that combines high-quality audio performance, environmental durability, and lightweight comfort without sacrificing stability during active use. With Bluetooth connectivity, the MC1 can be paired with Bluetooth-enabled devices such as mobile computers or industrial tablets. Once paired, the headset and device will automatically reconnect the next time they are both powered on and in close proximity to each other. The MC1 features a noise-canceling microphone, ensuring clear communication even in noisy environments. The headset also has volume controls, a mute button, and a multi-function button that can be used to answer/end calls, play/pause music, or activate voice commands.

ConnectingHeadsettoDevice
TousetheModComOneHeadsetwithaBluetoothDevice(or“Host”),suchasamobilecomputeror
industrialtablet,youmustfirstestablishawirelessconnectionbetweentheHeadsetandtheintended
Device.Thisprocessiscalled“Pairing”.
Pairing
TheHeadsetmaybepairedwithBluetoothdevicesinthefollowingthreeways:
1. TouchtoPairwithdevicessupportinganNFCConnection.
2. ScantoPairwithdevicessupportingBluetoothMacAddressScanning.
3. StandardBluetoothpairingwheretheheadsetisdiscoveredbytheHost.
Headsetmustbewithinclose
proximityofthehosttocompletepairing.Toinitiatepairing,Headset
mustbepoweredoff.Iftheheadsetison,turnoffbypressingtheMultiFunctionButton(MFB)for2
seconds.InitiateheadsetpairingbypressingtheMultiFunctionButtonfor7secondsuntilyouhear
“Pairing”andthe
LEDalternatelyflashesredandblue.
1. ForTouchtoPair,touchHeadsetNFCtag,locatedinthemicrophoneassembly,toNFCtagofHost.
2. ForScantoPair,activateHostscanningfunctionandscanHeadsetBluetoothMacAddressBarcode

3. ForStandardBluetoothpairing,usetheHost’sBluetoothsearchandpairingfunctionality(referto
theHostdocumentationifnecessary)andselect“ModComOne”.Ifnecessary,enterfourzeros
(0000)forthepasscodeandacceptconnection.
Oncesuccessfullypaired,youwillhear
“PairingSuccessful”andtheLEDwillflashblue,onceeverytwo
secondsindicatingtheHeadsetandHostareconnecte d . TheHeadsetmaybepairedtoanewHost
usingtheaboveprocedure.NotethatthiswillundothepairingtothecurrentHost.
OncetheHeadsetandHosthavebeenpaired,
theHeadsetandHostwillautomaticallyreconnectthe
nexttimetheyarebothpoweredonandincloseproximitytoeachother
