OIL SANDWICH ADAPTER

1350, 1358 & 1327
BEFORE INSTALLING THIS TRANS-DAPT OIL SANDWICH ADAPTER, MEASURE CLEARANCE BEHIND
THE FACTORY FILTER. ALLOW FOR THICKNESS OF THE ADAPTER PLUS 3/4” FOR FILTER REMOVAL.
1. If filter O-ring is flush with rim of filter, rim may hit adapter first, not allowing a good seal. This may
occur with Japanese brands. Select another brand.
2. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN cooler lines when connecting to the sandwich adapter.
1. Remove factory oil filter from engine.
2. Install sandwich adapter on factory filter landing with the appropriate O-ring installed in the adapter.
3. Screw sleeve nut on factory filter nipple until snug.
4. Position adapter in direction desired; tighten with wrench to about 25 foot pounds of torque.
5. Install oil cooler (not included) as per manufacturer’s instructions.
6. Reinstall factory oil filter.
