TrailFX DHS023B is a drop-down step designed to fit Chevrolet/GMC Silverado/Sierra 1500 Crew Cab 2004-2013 and 25/3500 2001-2019. It is made of polished stainless steel and has a limited lifetime warranty. The step bar is 60 inches long and can be adjusted to fit the desired height. It comes with all the necessary hardware for installation, including M10 bolts, nuts, and washers. The TrailFX DHS023B is easy to install and does not require any cutting or drilling. ERS TO 30 ft. - lbs. Torque Body Mount Bolts to GM spec.

2. Move to the center mount position and insert the sup-

plied U bolt. See Figure 2.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1. Start at the front driver side of the vehicle and remove

the factory bolt from the puck mount on the frame.

Grab the front driver side mount bracket and loosely

install with the factory bolt. See Figure 1.

3. Move on to the center body puck mount on the driver

side. Loosely install the center bracket with the factory

bolt. See Figure 3.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

4. Loosely install the center mount bracket with the

support bracket using the supplied M10 hardware.

See Figure 4.

5. Move on the rear body puck mount and loosely in-

stall the rear mount bracket with the factory bolt.

Crew Cab shown. See Figure 5. Go to Page 4 for

Extended Cab and Double Cab applications.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

6. Move on the rear body puck mount and loosely in-

stall the rear mount bracket with the factory bolt.

Extended Cab and Double Cab shown. See Figure 6.

7. Loosely Install step bars respectively to either side

using the M10 hardware provided with the step bars.

See Figure 7.

8. Align and adjust the step bars as needed and fully

tighten all hardware.

9. See Figure 8 for reference.

FAQ’s

1. Mounting bracket are not getting Installed properly.

In some cases Illustration images shown in Installation manual may not be the exactly same as per actual vehicle images ,also if Driver / Passenger side

mounting brackets are very identical in the design, suggest referring Parts Identification guide to avoid fitment issue.

2. Products are thumping / rattling after installation.

Please ensure that all required mounting brackets / hardware’s are installed & tighten correctly. Suggest using white lithium / regular grease between the

metal to metal contact surfaces.

3. Missing / Excess Hardware.

Recheck hardware count as per the part list.

4. Product not installing properly.

Ensure make model year, cab length and bed size of your vehicle is listed in the application. All installation steps are followed correctly.
