Remove bogie from snowmobile.
Remove upper and lower shock absorber bolts and
remove original shock absorber.
Mount the Öhlins shock with end-eye forward
(See figure on opposite page)

Spacers 182-05 (22x25,3)
Grease the blue bushing in end eye before
mounting.
Fit supplied shaft into a torque stay and one of the
light alloy spacers on the shaft, then fit Öhlins
shock absorber. Fit the other light alloy spacer and
torque stay. Mount the bolt with washers and nut.
When mounting the upper shock bolt, compress
the shock absorber slightly using a suitable tool.
Mount bogie to snowmobile.
Make sure that all bolts are tightened.
Do not increase pre-load more than 2 mm from
pre-set position. i.e. maximum 77 mm spring pre-
loa
d.

Plocka ur boggin från snöskotern.
Demontera de båda stötdämparskruvarna och
plocka bort originaldämparen.
Öhlin-dämparen monteras med ändöglan i främre
fästet. (Se skiss på baksidan)

EXCITER II: Axel 189-03 (22x105)
Distanser 182-05 (22x25,3)
Smörj den blå bussningen i ändöglan med
lagerfett före monteringen.
Placera axeln i ett av momentstagen, montera den
ena aluminiumdistansen på axeln och därefter
stötdämparen.
Montera den andra aluminiumdistansen och det
andra moment staget. Montera sedan skruven med
brickor och mutter.
Montera stötdämparen i övre fästet, det
underlättas om dämparen trycks ihop något med
hjälp av ett brytjärn eller liknande.
Återmontera boggit.
Se till att samtliga skruvar är åtdragna.
Öka ej förspänningen mer än 2 mm från för-
inställningen. dvs max 77 mm fjäderförspänning
