NMEA 0183 Monitor (MD):
Select ‘MD from the right hand menu Up/Down button, and select ‘NMEA Monitor using Left/Right button.
RawData View
Summary View
View Mode: Select RawData/Summary screens using Left/Right button under the ‘DI’ menu
Communication Options: Select Baudrate/Stopbits/Parity under the ‘CO’ menu, and change the value using
Left/Right buttons.
Baudrate: 1,200 ~ 115,200, Stopbits: 1/2, Parity: None/Even/Odd
Automatic Baudrate Detection: Hold the ‘A’ button for more than 1 second will auto detect the incoming data baud
rate. The X300 will detect the input data baudrate automatically, from 1,200 to 115,200 baud.
Summary mode the display will show the analysed NMEA data and any associated errors.
Error Codes: Red-No data for 3s, Violet-Checksum, Yellow=-Length (>82byte)
NMEA Generator (GE):
Select ‘MD from the menu using Up/Down button, and select ‘NMEA Generator’ using Left/Right button.
1. NMEA sentence is charged by selecting Sentence’ sub menu in ‘GE menu using Up/Down button. Selected
sentence ID is displayed bottom line.
2. Each field in NMEA of the sentence is selected using ‘B’ button. To do this, select ‘FieldData’ sub menu in
‘GE’ menu. Selected field is displayed bottom line.
3. The field data which is selected above can be changed using Left/Right button when ‘FieldData sub menu is
selected.
