Remove the adjustment
assembly.
Remove the 3 Philips
screws securing the
micro adjustment ring
into the assembly.
Remove and discard the
current felt, if present.

Starting with one end of
the new felt, press it into
the groove in the micro
adjustment ring.
Work the strip into the
groove around the ring
until it is all seated.
The felt should protrude
slightly from the groove.
Felt protrudes roughly 1mm

Place the Micro
Adjustment Ring onto the
Macro Adjustment Ring
The interface is keyed.
Ensure rst that the
screen printing on the
Micro ring is aligned
with the indicator line
printed onto the Macro
ring. Then, ensure that
the screw holes on the
Micro ring align with the
screw holes on the black
interior ring in the Macro
assembly.
Secure the 3 Philips
screws.

If the micro adjustment
is now too tight, remove
the micro adjustment
ring and press the felt
into the groove more
rmly.
For more minor
modication of friction,
the 3 Philips screws can
be loosened or tightened
slightly.
