Introduction:
The three processes of your electric pressure cooker
1. Heating process: This first process requires electricity and produces
pressure. Specific heating time depends on type and quantity of food
being cooked (not displayed on screen). Small quantities of food
require less heating time than larger quantities. When cooking, always
set the "pressure limited valve" to "seal" position in order to maintain
pressure inside the cooker.
2. Pressure-keeping process: When necessary internal pressure has
been reached, the cooker will automatically switch from the electric-
heating to the pressure-keeping process. The cooking time,
displayed on the screen, will count down automatically.
3. Pressure release process: When the pressure-keeping process has
been completed, the cooker will switch to the "warm" function and
release the internal pressure. The cooker can be opened only when
all pressure has been released. If it is essential to open the lid before
this process is complete, you can manually release pressure by
setting the “pressure limited valve” to “release.Warning: we do not
recommend any procedures to override the pressure release
process, as there is a danger of injury by hot steam from the cooker.
When Using
(1) Set the pressure limit valve to "Seal" before using it.
(2) Never touch the lid during operation, as it is extremely
hot.
(3) After selecting desired function, cooker will blink eight times,
then proceed to function automatically.
(4) To avoid getting burnt, do not put your hands over "release.””
(5)
Always place cooker beyond children's reach.
(6)
Always lock the lid before connecting to the power
supply.
(7)
Make sure nothing is obstructing the pressure limit
valve before use.

Option Selection
+Options include: rice, noodles, soup, bone, porridge, heating,
cake, meat, bean, preset setting, pressure keeping setting,
warm/cancel. After selecting your desired function or setting, cooker
will blink eight times and then start to work automatically.
PRESET SETTING key-press
+Press “time setting” until display shows desired preset time and
its indicator light blinks. Preset times are in 30 minute increments
through 10 hours,
and one hour increments from 10 to 24 hours.
Maximum present time is 24 hours.
+ For example, let’s say you choose a delayed cooking start time of 4
hours. After time preset of 4 hours has been selected, choose desired
function or pressure-keeping setting and wait 8 blinks. Time display will
count backwards and start to work automatically after 4 hours has
elapsed.
(If preset time is less than 10 hours, time display will show a decrease
every 30 minutes. If preset time is over 10 hours, time display will show
a decrease ever 1 hour.)
PRESSURE KEEPING SETTING Key-press
+Pressure-keeping time settings, between 2 minutes and 99
minutes, may be selected in 2 minute increments.
+Continue pressing pressure-keeping setting until desired time is
reached.
+You cannot select options until after choosing pressure-keeping
time.
+After selecting desired pressure-keeping time setting, cooker will
blink 8 times, then begin working automatically. After cooker reaches
desired pressure, the pressure-keeping time will decrease in 1 minute
increments (visible on time display).
+Press WARM/CANCEL to reset function selection or to stop cooker
while it is in progress.
+Any function can be switched to warm-keeping at any time.
Maximum warm-keeping time is 24 hours.
+Unplug.
Holding the handle of the lid, turn handle clockwise to
open cooker. (Illustration 3&4) The food is now ready to serve.
+When cooking sticky food, do not raise pressure
limit valve until warm-keeping indicator light stops
blinking and the float falls down. Otherwise, food
may be ejected from the release valve needle.
+We suggest waiting for cooker to complete
pressure releasing process.
If it is essential to
open lid before this process is complete, you can
accelerate cooling by unplugging unit and
covering lid with a wet towel. You can release
steam when warm-keeping indicator light is on,
indicating pressure inside is decreasing.
Warning: we do not recommend procedures to
override pressure release process, as there is
danger of injury by hot steam from the cooker.
+For baking cakes, we recommend using
the non-stick inner pot.
Example:
A. Plug in, press Rice or other options key (or set the pressure-keeping
time).
8 blinks later, cooker starts to work. Desired time is displayed on the
screen.
B. You will hear a sound when cooker reaches desired pressure. Then,
pressure-keeping time will decrease in 1 minute increments.
C. Cooker switches to warm-keeping after the pressure-keeping is complete.
You will hear 5 sounds and WARM indicator light will blink. At this time,
temperature and pressure inside cooker are still very high, and lid is due to
internal safety features.
D. Only open the lid after pressure release is complete and float has fallen.
E. Unplug and serve food.

Cleaning
1. When not in use, unplug appliance from the outlet and allow it to cool
down before cleaning.
2.
Polish body of the cooker with a soft cloth. Do not immerse the body
in water or spray water over it.
3.
Remove dew collector to wash thoroughly, then polish with a wet
cloth and replace.
4.
Wash inside of the lid thoroughly, including seal ring, pressure
limit valve, blocking proof, release valve needle, and float valve. Then,
dry with a soft cloth.
5.
Wash inner pot with a sponge or non-abrasive soft brush. Then, dry
the outside with a soft cloth.
6.
Appliance must be dried completely before use.
Precautions
1. Do not use the cooker on wet surfaces or near inflammable objects.
2. Do follow the instructions of step two in Guide to Operation when
placing the food and the water in the cooker.
3. Do not damage the seal ring, as other rubber rings cannot be
substituted. Also, do not attempt to replace with a tension ring to
intensify seal.
4.
Wash the blocking proof frequently and examine release valve needle
often to ensure that it is unobstructed.
5. Do not forcibly open the lid when the float is still up.
6. Do not press against pressure limit valve or attempt to replace it
with other objects.
7. Do not place a cloth between the lid and the thermal insulator, as
this is a safety risk.
8. Keep the heater surface and the exterior bottom of the inner pot
clean. No part of the inner pot may come into contact with direct
heat or flame. Do not substitute other pots for inner pot.
9. Use only wooden or plastic spoons to prevent the non-stick coating
from damage.
10.
To prevent burns, keep face and hands away from the release outlet
during release,
and do not touch the lid when cooker is working.
11.
The maximum warm-keeping time is 24 hours. However, suggested
maximum time for best results is 6 hours.
12. The maximum preset time is 24 hours. To prevent spoilage, consider
refrigeration requirements of your food before choosing preset time.
13. Typically, safety pressure release setting will prevent excessive steam
release. However, if too much steam releases from around the lid during
use, unplug the unit and return it to an authorized service facility for
examination, repair or adjustment.
14. Hold the pot ear, not the handle of the lid, to move the cooker.
15. If cooker malfunctions, return it to the authorized service facility
for examination, repair or adjustment.
16.
Do not dismantle the cooker or substitute parts by yourself.
17.
All spare parts should be obtained from the manufacturer.
18. In case of damage, do not attempt to dismantle or repair the
power cord. Power cord must be replaced by the manufacturer.
19. Cooker should not be used by children or others lacking
ability and experience using appliances of this type.
20. This product should only be used in home and restaurant settings.
