Pairing the additional
Speaker System (s)
The second stage to upgrading the SC-BT100 to become a 5.1 or 7.1
surround sound system is to pair the additional set or sets of wireless
surround speakers (SH-FX67).
Each SH-FX67 wireless speaker system comprises of:
2 Speakers
1 SH-FX67T Digital Transmitter Card
1 SE-FX67 Wireless Receiver
•One Wireless Speaker system can be added to the SC-BT100 to create a 5.1
surround sound system.
•Two Wireless Speaker systems can be added to the SC-BT100 to create a 7.1
surround sound system
If only one SH-FX67 wireless speaker system is being used (5.1 channel surround
sound system) no pairing will be necessary as the Digital Transmitter card and the
Wireless Receiver will have already been paired at the factory. Simply insert the
Digital Transmitter into the back of the home theatre unit (SC-BT100) as illustrated
If two SH-FX67 wireless speaker systems are being used, (7.1 channel surround
sound system) only one Digital Transmitter card is used
to send the signals to both
Wireless Receivers. The second Digital Transmitter card should be stored in a safe
place as a spare. Paring the one Digital Transmitter card with the second Wireless
Receiver will be required. Please see the Pairing instructions
When using a single Wireless
Receiver in a 5.1 channel surround
sound system as shown in the
illustration, ensure that the surround
selector switch, found on the back of
the receiver, is set to the Centre
position
When using a pair of Wireless
Receivers in a 7.1 channel surround
sound system as shown in the
illustration, ensure that the surround
selector switch, found on the back of
the receiver, is set to the “L” position
on the left receiver and in the “R”
position on the right receiver
Pairing Instructions
(for 7.1 Channel Surround Sound only)
It should not be necessary to pair the Digital Transmitter to the Wireless Receiver unit when a single
