Chapter 1 General Information
1. Check if there is any leak of current.
2. Cut out the power supply before the repair to avoid an electrical shock hazard.
3. In the case of a live-line test, insulating gloves should be worn to avoid potential electrical shock.
4. Confirm the rated current, voltage and capacity before testing with any kinds of instruments.
5. Watch if the upper door is open when you check something at a lower position.
6. Take out every part in the cabinet before moving the machine, especially things like panels (e.g. glass
shelf).
7. Please wear intact cotton gloves when repair any parts of the evaporator, so that scratches by the
sharp fins can be avoided.
8. If there is a breakdown with the refrigeration system, please surrender the machine to the
service center, else the leaked refrigerant may pollute the atmosphere
.
9. The refrigerator use AC of 220V with a frequency of 50Hz.
10. A bi g f luctuation of v oltage (ex ceed the range 187242V) m ay cause a start failure of t he
refrigerator, a burn-out of the control panel and compressor, or an abnormal sound from the compressor
in operation. In this condition an automatic voltage regulator should be added.
11. Take care not to damage t he supply line. Don ’t yank at t he line; pul l the plug out gent ly f rom the
receptacle. Don’t press the line under the cabinet or step on it. Take care not to roll on or damage the
supply line when moves the machine from the wall.
12. In t he case of leakage of i nflammable gas es l ike carbon monoxide, ope n the door and wi ndows.
Don’t pull out or insert the plugs of the appliance.
13. Don’t t ouch t he refrigeration s urface of the f reezing compartment when t he ref rigerator i s i n
operation, especially when your hand is wet, else you may be glued to the surface.
14. Pull out the plug of power supply during clearance or po wer outage. Wait at least five minutes to
resume the power supply in order to prevent damage to the compressor caused by continuous restart.

does not get
cold at all.
Not plugged in . Plug in
Is the circuit breaker tripped or blown fuse?
Put on the home circuit breaker or
change the new fuse.
Is the refrigerator temperature control
setted at “off”?
Set the temperature control knob at
"4".

The
refrigerator
does not get
cold enough.
Is the refrigerator control dialed set to
correct location?
Set it to a colder temperature.
Is the refrigerator placed in direct sunlight
or closely a heat source?
Move the refrigerator to proper
location.
Is the door closed completely? Close the door completely.
Is the door opened too frequently or too
long?
Open the door less often,
Does the door gasket seal properly? Make the gasket sealing properly.
Is the refrigerator overloaded? Load less food into it.

The food in the
refrigerator is
frozen
Is the refrigerator control dialed set to
correct location?
Set it to a warmer temperature.
Is the ambient temperature too low? Set it to a warmer temperature.

Two sides of
the cabinet are
hot:
condensation
occurs.

The door can
not close
properly.
Were the doors not properly installed? Assure the doors installed properly.
Is the door gasket dirty and distortion? Cleaning and flatting the door gasket.

The lamp does
not work.
Has the home circuit breaker or fuse
tripped?
Put on the home circuit breaker or
change the new fuse.
Is the refrigerator's door close completely? Assure the door close completely.

Operating for
all long time.
Is the ambient temperature too high?
High ambient temperature can cause
long running time
Is the temperature controller in freezer
chamber or in refrigerator chamber is set at
“strong” position
Sets it at a right position.
Too much food is loaded into the
refrigerator and insufficient spaces for
airflow.
Load less food into the refrigerator.
The door were not closed completely or the
gasket not sealing enough.
Close the doors completely or make
the gasket sealing enough.
Open the door too frequently. Decrease the open-door times.
