The PT-27 Replacement
Torch Head (21610) is
supplied with a long lead
and knife connectors
disigned to feed through
the insulating Handle and
connect at the back.
DO NOT Make Any
Wire Splices in
Front of Handle!
The PT-27 Head assy. P/N 21610 must be properly wired to insure that damage does not occur during arc
starts. Be sure that the long lead supplied with the head is routed through the insulating handle to the rear
and all connections are made as shown below.
Connecting the PT-27 torch head lead in front of the insulating handle will expose the connection to
extreme high frequency pulse during arc start, sufficient to destroy the connection!
