2. Follow the instructions on the screen as shown in the
illustration and click “Next” to continue.
3. If the installation program prompts you to insert the
Windows 98 CD, place your Windows 98SE CD in the
CD-ROM drive and click "Next".
4. Windows now automatically searches for the best driver.
Click “Next”.
5. Click “Finish” when the installation process is complete.
6. The entry “HID-compliant mouse” should be shown under
“Mouse” in the Device manager. If this is not the case,
re-start installation.
7. The LR1 presenter is now ready for operation.

congratulations on your decision. We are certain that our
product will serve you well for years to come. These
instructions contain valuable information on operating and
configuring the presenter. Keep these instructions and the
software CD in a safe location for future reference.
The Laser Presenter LR1 will allow you to scroll conveniently
and simply through presentations and thus to guide your
listeners through them perfectly. The built-in laser pointer helps
to point out details of a presentation to your listeners.

VII. Using the laser pointer
Press the button on the presenter to activate the pointer.
Warning: The laser beam is dangerous to the eyes. Never point
the laser beam at a person's eyes.
Attention: Any changes to the laser pointer or its output, or
using the pointer incorrectly can be dangerous and are
therefore not permitted.
VIII. Using the infrared remote control
•Connect the receiver to the USB port of your notebook or PC.
•Press the “▲” button to scroll forward and the “▼” button to
scroll back.
IX. Installation
The following steps are required if you use Windows 98SE.
The steps are not necessary if you use Windows ME/2000/XP.
1. Connect the USB receiver to your computer. Your computer
will inform you that a new USB device has been
connected.
