Data interface: RS232 / RS422 / RS485 / Manchester /
Biphase
Baud rate: 0-300Kbps
ATTENTION
Do not exceed the range of power supply input 12VDC/24VAC.
8 dB for MM and 17 dB SM optical loss budget, the total
loss in the optical fiber should be less than 8 dB for MM
and 17 dB for MM, otherwise optical signal will not be
present at the receiver.
For Indoor environment, operating temperature and
humidity are controlled within the working parameter or
else may cause damage to the units.
Use the protective covers for optical transmitters when
not connected with patch cords – avoids dust.
INSTRUCTIONS
The series are digital optical transmission system optimized
for 1-channel video plus 1-channel duplex data signal on
one optical fiber.
Encoding is 10bit/13.5MHz digital sample for video signal,
RS232 / RS422 / RS485/ Manchester / Biphase electrical
standard for data interface. Digital signal optical
transmission is of the highest quality.
Additionally, status on power, optical, video and data signal
are available via the indicators on the front panels.

INSTALLATION
Open the package and inspect the unit, no sounds of
loose items should be heard from inside.
Power Connection
Plug the 12VDC/24VAC power supply in source. Green LED
indicators of Power and Optical signals, illuminate on fiber
optic transmitter to indicate that the unit operates normally.
Power LED on card, illuminates to indicate that receiver
operates normally.
Optical Fiber Connection
The output of transmitter and the input of receiver are
connected with FC/PC patch cord. The optical LED indicator
on card illuminates to indicate that the receiver receives
optical signal.
After power and optical signal operate properly, connect
video output from camera source into the video input port of
the fiber optic transmitter using a BNC coaxial cable. Then
connect a BNC coaxial cable between the output video port
of receiver and a Digital Video Recorder, Matrix Switcher or
Composite Video Monitor.
The LED indicators of Data Rx and Data Tx illuminate
synchronously to indicate that the data traffic is being
transmitted.
