Setup
Congratulations on purchasing an AXIS Rear View Backup Camera System. With this
manual, you will be able to properly install and operate the unit. The Backup Camera
System is intended to be installed as a supplement aid to your standard rear view mirror
that already exists in your vehicle. The Backup Camera System should not be used as a
substitute for the standard rear view mirror or for any other mirror that exists in your ve-
hicle. In some jurisdictions, it is unlawful for a person to drive a motor vehicle equipped
with a TV viewer or screen located toward the back of the drivers seat or in any location
that is visible, directly or indirectly, to the driver while operating the vehicle.
STEP 1: Load 9V battery to battery
compartment with its polarities matched.
STEP 2: Place camera above hitch ball
and push power button for 2 seconds on
camera until you see a steady blue light.
(To power off camera hold power button
down for 2 seconds).
Pairing:
1. Turn on camera (see step 2 above)
2. Hold power button on camera for 6 seconds

3. Turn on monitor (see step 3 above).
4. Push the pair button on monitor until
PAIR OK is displayed.
5. Restart monitor (step 3). System is now PAIRED.
STEP 3: Attach monitor to cigarette
lighter port in vehicle.
(To power on/off monitor hold power
button down for 3 seconds).
