Wind River Linux and Eurotech Catalyst TC LiveUSB Evaluation
Getting Started Guide 1.0
1.3 Required Hardware
1.3.1 Eurotech Catalyst TC Development Kit Specification
The Eurotech Catalyst TC is a high-performance, low-power module based on the Intel
®
Atom
™
processor. It uses an integrated two-chip solution comprised of the Intel
®
Atom
™
E6xx series processor and Intel
®
Platform Controller Hub (PCH EG20T). The Intel Atom
processor contains an integrated 2D/3D graphics engine supporting hardware-accelerated
graphics display and video processing capabilities, while the Intel PCH EG20T supports
extensive I/O and data storage capabilities. The module includes up to 2 GB system
SDRAM, RTC, optional e.MMC embedded flash drive, and optional TPM.
The Eurotech Catalyst TC integrates with an application-specific carrier board for a total
production solution. This flexible, modular architecture enables easy customization and
quick time-to-market. The Eurotech carrier board included in the development kit
provides a broad range of on-board peripherals including PCI Express (PCIe), Mini PCIe,
SIM card, Ethernet, USB2.0, LPC bus, CAN bus, RS232/422/485, SD/MMC, SMBus,
I2C bus, LVDS, SDVO, SATA, PS/2 mouse and keyboard, touch screen, backlight,
hardware monitors, GPIO, audio, and optional SPI flash memory.
