Assembly Instructions
The warning light allows the quick recognition of the device status at printers of the HERMES Q series.

Attention!
For using the warning light the printer rmware version 5.32 or higher is needed.

- 2 Slot Nuts (2)
- 2 Spring Washers (3)
- 2 Screws M6x14 (4)
- 2 Screws M6x10 (5)
Mounting

to the bracket
► Switch off the printer.
► Insert the slot nuts (2) of the warning light
(1) into the slot (6) of the bracket.
► Tighten the screws (4).

to the frame of the printer
► Switch off the printer.
► Dismount the slot nuts (2).
► Attach the warning light (1) with 2 screws
(5) and 2 spring washers (3) at the
drillings (7) in the frame.

► Switch off the printer.
► Dismount the slot nuts (2).
► Attach the warning light (1) with 2 screws
(5) and 2 spring washers (3) at the
drillings (8) in the bracket of the service
unit.

Connection
► Connect the cable (10) to an USB host interface (9) of the
printer.

Messages
Color Meaning
red Error
yellow Warning ribbon end or warning label end is active
green Device is ready for printing
green blinking Device is switched on but not ready (e.g. if the printhead is open)
