LOCKit! Interlocking Latch is designed to work with the LOCKiT! Double-Bolt Sliding Glass Door Lock to secure two sliding glass doors that meet in the

middle. Installation is easy.

Decide where to position the LOCKiT! Double-Bolt Sliding Glass Door Lock and Interlocking Latch. If there are small children in the home, consider installing

LOCKiT! high enough to be out of their reach. Do not install within 3" of the top of the door to allow the bolts to function correctly.

First install the LOCKiT! Double-Bolt Sliding Glass Door Lock, purchased separately, then install the LOCKiT! Interlocking Latch.

To install the LOCKiT! Double-Bolt Sliding Glass Door Lock:

1. Remove the faceplate from the lock body to reveal the 4 screw holes.

2. Open the lock by sliding the top slide bolt up and the bottom slide bolt down.

3. Mark the position of the 4 screw holes on the door with a pen or pencil.

4. Using a

⁄8" drill bit, drill starter holes for the screws.

5. Install the LOCKiT! Double-Bolt Sliding Glass Door Lock using a drill and the

⁄8" screws provided. Snap the faceplate on.

To install the LOCKiT! Interlocking Latch:

1. With the two bolts of the original LOCKiT! Double-Bolt Sliding Glass Door Lock in the open position, center the latch of the Interlocking Latch

between the two bolts.

2. Close the two bolts. Close the two sliding glass doors and position the Interlocking latch on the second door.

3. Mark the screw holes with a pen. Using the

⁄8" drill bit, drill starter holes for the screws.

4. Install the LOCKiT! Interlocking Latch using the drill and the

⁄8" screws provided. Snap the cover on, close the two bolts to secure your doors, and

you’re done!
