Pineapple lilies are miniature floral representations of the
tropical fruit. The flower is formed by a spike of masses
of little flowers, or florets, topped with a tuft of green.
The foliage is large, broad, and wavy edged. The flower is
fragrant and tropical looking and is a unique garden specimen.
They are exceptional cut flowers, and the stems stay fresh for
weeks. You and your neighbors will not be disappointed!

About This Variety: Eucomis Indian Summer is a relatively newer variety. What makes it a stand out from its
‘regular’ cousin Eucomis Bi-color is its bold, tropical, red color.
Growing Instructions: Don’t let the exotic looks fool you as they are VERY easy to grow. Be sure they receive
enough sun light as too much shade will reduce flowering. Best to plant once soil has warmed
Care Tip: Water regularly, well and avoid letting the soil dry out. They are tender and easily damaged by cold
temperatures.
Exposure: Full sun to partial shade
Height: Grows 8-12” tall
Spacing: Plant 18” apart, 1” deep
Hardy in: USDA zones7-10
