LIFT -MOUNT. ASSEMBLY:

1. Disconnect perk a~ turn ligts it plug beind bumpr. .

Remov bumpr ind brketl. (Bumpr brKket boltl can be reve fro insid engne cot. Rem to hook. Rem

stabili..r .bar U-climp bots fro bottom of fra horn. Retiin tow hook. bump lne.. an tw l2t of th forC4J bump tnet

bolts for reinstallation if lift-mnt is red fiom veicle.

2. Install curb side mont unit 10 frame horn using thre (3) existing fasteners remove with tow hook. Inltlll dri iid mont unit using

three (3) furnished 12mm - 1.2Smm x 25mm bolts ind 1/2" lockwashers. Reattach stabilzer bar U-camps using existing fasteners throu

mount units into frame horn weld nuis.

3. Install tie bars to bumper bracket stools using two (21 of the four (4) existing fasteners in the front mounting holes. with the hook end

tight to the back of the stool.

4. Attach tift.frame unit to bottom of mount units using furnished 5/8" x 2-112" bolts and locknuts. Attach forwrd ends of tie bars to

tift.frame unit tabs using furnished 7116" x 1-1/4" bolts and locknuts.

5. Attach trimmed end of thrust bar brim down) to bottom of lift.frame unit using furnished 5/8" . 2" bolts and locknuts, Attach other

end of thrust bar to slottec plate on the outboard side of frame horn using furnished 5/8" x 2" bolts, flatwashers to slotted plates and

locknuts. TIGHTEN ALL BOLTS TO CORRESPONDING TORQUE VALUES NOTED IN FASTENER TORQUE CHART.

6. Install bumper to lift.frame unit using the existing fasteners. Attach bumper straps (see insed to inside of bumpr using existing fasteners

through large hole in strap and rubber bushings. Fasten bumper strap to fendp.r using furnishe 1/4" x 3/4" bolt. flatwasher to fender and

locknut. Tighten fasteners and reconnect park and turn lights.

7. Install plastic shields to rectanglar opening locted directty below headlights. (If auxiliary headlights are to be used the plastic shields

should not be installed until headiight installation is complete.) RemovE: hex washer head screws from outboard ends of openings, aHgn

large hole in plastic shield and secure with existing fastener. Using small hole as a guide, drill opposite ends into metal with 9/64" dii.

drill and secure with furnished No. 10 x 1" screws. (Plastic shield is necessary to protect horn unit and wiring harnessJ

LIGHT KIT ASSEMBLY:

CAUTION: READ LIGHT KIT SUPPLEMENTARY WIRING INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE INSTALLING HEADlAMPS INTO CIRCUIT.

DO NOT drill instrument panel .for mounting the toggle switch.

1. Position floor bracket stool 11.1/2" from edge of floor console as shown. Mark location of the 3 mounting holes and drill 2 - 9/64"

diameter holes into the floor and 1 - 9/64" diameter hole into tunnel.

2. Assemble the floor bracket stool to floor bracket using 3-No. 10 x 3/8" long hex head tapping screws. Place rubber boot onto body of

floor bracket.

3. Assemble the i lIa Control to the floor bracket using 4-No. 8 x 5/8" long hex head screws.

4. Control cables will pass through the passengers side of firewalL. Drill per hydraulic system instructions.

5. Place assembled control in position and secure with No.1 0 x 1" sheet metal screws and lock washers.

6. Slide rubber boot down to cover attaching flange screws. 3294.8307

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

FOR 59700 BLADE GUIDE ASSEMBLY

The following instructions simply outline the attachment of this blade guide assembly.

Step 1.

Step 2.

Lower blade to ground leveL.

If hole is not pre.drilled. drill one 11/32" hole. 1.3/16" down and 1" out on the outside rib

of blade. See diagram below.

Insert pointed end of clampinto coil of guide. Attach guide to rib using top hole of clamp_

Secure assembly using supplied 5/16" )( 1" bolt and locknut. Tighten until guide will stand

alone perpendicular to road surface.

If hole is not pre.drillecl. use lower hole of clamp as locator. drill bottom hole 11/32".

Bolt lower hole in place. F ¡nish securing top holt.

Attach other side following above steps.

SUPPLEMENTARY LIGHT KIT - WIRING INSTRUCTIONS AND PARTS LIST'

IMPORTANT: When using 6010 with this installation, the ground circuit of the ~uxiliary headlamps must be changed to coincide with the

vehicle headlamp ground circuit. (These vehicles have the headlamp switch in the ground circuit. Paragraph iII is only applicable with four

headlamps (In the vehicle.

i. 60010 RECTANGULAR .AUXllIARY HEADLAMP WITH

PARKrrURN. SEE DIAGRAM.

1. Remove both head lamps from auxiliary headlamp housings.

Cut the double ground leads about 2" from the headlamp

soket.

2. In eah headlamp housing, connect togther the Park/Turn

limp Ground 'ead and housing ground 'ead (cut per Step 1)

with furnished self stripping wire connector.

3. Driver's Side - Remove strain relief 'rom headlamp

housing. Insert the long lead of the in-line fuse holder

through the hed lamp wire casing. Coronett this lead to

one of the 2" ground leads (other 2" ""ound lead is not

use) on headlamp socket using furnished self stripping

wire conecors. Replace strain relief and heidtamp in

hong.

4. Curb Sid - Repat Step 3 using 3 foot wire in plac of

fu ho.

Harnes No. 49057 (if not furnfshed in lift-mnt box, 49056 Kit must be purchase separately,) replace the No. 59805 harness supplied with

lit Kit numbr 6010. Fotlow the instIllation instructions furnished with the light kit except for the two steps noted "O.R" below, when

mekingthe intallation.

Direprd the paagph entitled "Driver's Side" ind substitute "O.R'. No.1.

"O-R" NO.1-Discnnect vehicle higli beam lamps (type 1A) and seaf thes plugs with furnished safety caps. Driver Side - remove existing

ppug from high.low beam headlamPs (type 2Al and connect male plug of harness to it. Connect the short 3 terminal female harness plug to this

headlam, and the long 3 terminal plug to the curb side headlamp. Connect the short 2 terminal plugs to the higg beam lamps hype1A).

NOTE: With this harns all 4 vehicle headlamps wil operate when the togle swtch is set to the "vehicle" position and the high beams are

selected.

"Q.'. No.2 - When connecting the six spade terminais to the togle switch, reverse the black and white leads from that shown on the wiring

diagam.
