1. How to switch ON and switch OFF the TrackSol ETR terminal

2. How to check if the TrackSol ETR is online

Press this circular button that is

located on the top left corner of

the device to power on or off the

ETR terminal.

To Power on:

Press and hold for 2 second. It

will switch on.

To power off:

Press and hold for 2 seconds. It

will power off. Press for 2

seconds to power on

To know if the ETR is connected,

monitor this section at the top of

the screen on your ETR device.

If the ETR is online it will display

“Online” as shown in this

diagram.

If the ETR is not online, it will

display a number such as “ST:

your data connection or contact

your ETR supplier for support.

3. How to print a Z Report from the ETR

3.1 Select Reports 3.2 Select Z – Report 3.3 Tap the supervisor card

to approve the printout

.

The ETR will then confirm this action then respond and ask you

to press Enter to print

3.4 Press Enter and the Z Report will print out automatically.

4. How to make a fuel sale from the TrackSol ETR terminal

4.1 Select Sale

4.2 Then select Fuel Sale

4.3 Select type of fuel

e.g. Super

4.4 Enter amount,

and ensure the correct

payment mode is

selected

(cash or MPesa)

Then,

Press Done

4.5 The ETR will display all

the details of the

transaction for you to

confirm.

If correct,

Press OK

4.6 Tap operator card on

the ETR keypad as

shown.

This will approve the

transaction and print

out the ETR customer

receipt.

5. How to cut off the ETR receipt properly

Ensuring you cut the receipt properly when a

receipt is issued is very important to prevent any

paper jam.

To properly cut the receipt once it is printed, gently

pull the receipt paper in an upwards and diagonal

motion as illustrated in the diagram (left).

6. How to change thermal paper roll properly once it is

finished or near finished

Lift up the lever on the printer cover then

pull up the cover gently.

Please use two hands and do not use too

much force it open.

Remove the finished paper roll and place the

new one inside the printer compartment.

Make the paper roll is placed in the right way as

shown. Then gently close the printer cover using

both hands.

7. How to update your ETR configurations

7.1 Select Admin

7.2 Select Update

7.3 Press Enter to update

The ETR will update its settings and the configurations you have made automatically.

Once done the ETR display screen will return to the normal home screen user menu.

8. How to recharge your ETR battery

Each ETR comes with power adapter. Please only use the power adapter supplied with the

ETR.

Connect the adapter pin to the

DC in power inlet on the side of

the ETR device as shown in the

illustration (right).

Then Connect the adapter to the

power socket and witch on.

Please note:

§ When the ETR battery is fully

drained, you will need to

connect it to power for atleast

2 hours to fully recharge.

§ The TrackSol ETR does not need to be connected to power socket constantly while in

operation. Please avoid connecting the ETR continuously to the power socket while it is

in operation as this can cause degradation of the ETR battery life.
