Yourdishwasherhasanoverfillprotectiondevicewhichcouldautomaticallyshutofftheinletvalveandstartsthedrainpump
ifthewateroverflows.Ifthisoccurs,turnoffthemainwatersupplybeforecallingaqualifiedserviceagent.Ifthereiswaterin

Theamountofdetergentneededcanvaryduetodifferencesinwaterhardness.Todeterminethewaterhardnessinyourarea,
contactyourlocalwaterutility.Theharderthewater,themoredetergentyoumayneed.
Remember,youshouldadjusttheamountofdetergentyouusebysmallamountsuntilyoufindthecorrectamount.
Useonlydetergentspecificallymadeforuseindishwashers.
Keepyourdetergentfreshanddry.Don'tputpowderdetergent
intothedispenseruntilyou'rereadytowashdishes.
Therinseaidisreleasedduringthefinalrinsetopreventwater
fromformingdropletsonyourdishesthatcanleavespotsand
streaks.Italsoimprovesdryingbyallowingwaterto"sheet"off
thedishes.
Yourdishwashersaredesignedtouseliquidrinseaids.The
rinseaiddispenserislocatedinsidethedoornexttothe
detergentdispenser.Tofillthedispenser,openthecapand
pourtherinseaidintothedispenseruntilthelevelindicator
turnscompletelyblack.Thedispenserholdsabout100mlof
liquidrinseaid.
Becarefulnottooverfillthedispenser,becausethiscould
causeoversudsing.Wipeawayanyspillswithadampcloth.
Don'tforgettoreplacethecapbeforeyouclosethedishwasher
door.
Ifyouhavesoftwater,youmaynotneedrinseaidforitmay
causeawhitefilmtodeveloponyourdishes.
YOUMAYNOTNEEDTOADDTOOMUCHDETERGENTBECAUSEYOURDISHWASHERHASASPECIALLY-DESIGNEDWATER

Thedispensermustberefilledbeforethestartofeachwashcyclefollowingtheinstructionsprovidedinthe"WashCycle
Table".Generally,onlyonetablespoonofdetergentisneededforanormalwashload.Also,moreheavilysoileditemsneed
moredetergent.Alwaysaddthedetergentjustbeforestartingdishwasher,otherwiseitcouldgetdampandwillnotdissolve
properly.
Toopenthedispenser,turnthecaptothe"open"(left)
arrowandliftitout.

Replacethecapbyinsertingitalignedwith"open"arrow

Ameasuredamountofrinseaidisreleasedduringthefinalrinse.Aswithdetergent,theamount
ofrinseaidneededforyourdishesdependsonthehardnessofthewaterinyourarea.Toomuch
rinseaidcanresultinlatheroffoamingandcausecloudinessorsteaksonyourdishes.Ifthe
waterinyourareaisverysoft,youmaynotneedrinseaid.Ifyoudo,youcandilutetherinseaid
withanequalamountofwater.
Therinseaiddispenserhassixsettings.Alwaysstartwiththedispenserseton"1".Ifspotsand
poordryingareproblems,increasetheamountofrinseaiddispensedbyremovingthedispenser
lidandrotatingthedialto"2".Ifthedishesstillarenotdryingproperlyorarespotted,adjustthe
dialtothenexthighernumberuntilyourdishesarespot-free.
Ifthereisnorinseaidwarninglightinthecontrolpanel,youcanjudgetheamountofrinseaidbythefollowingmeans.The
blackdotontherinseaiddispenserindicatestheamountofrinseaidinthedispenser.Astherinseaiddiminishes,thesizeof
theblackdotdecreases.Youshouldneverlettherinseaidgetbelow1/4full.

Filterassembly
Forbestperformanceandresults,thefilterassemblymustbecleaned.Thefilterefficientlyremovesfoodparticlesfromthewash
water,allowingittoberecirculatedduringthecycle.Forthisreason,itisagoodideatoremovethelargerfoodparticlestrappedin
thefilteraftereachwashcyclebyrinsingthesemicircularfilterandcupunderrunningwater.Toremovethefilterassembly,pull
onthecuphandleintheupwarddirection.Theentirefilterassemblyshouldbecleanedonceaweek.
Tocleanthecoarsefilterandthefinefilter,useacleaningbrush.Then,reassemblethefilterpartsasshowninthefiguresleftand
reinserttheentireassemblyinthedishwasher,positioninginitsseatandpressingdownward.
Thedishwashermustneverbeusedwithoutthefilters.Improperreplacementofthefiltermayreducetheperformancelevelofthe
applianceanddamagedishesandutensils.

Aftereverywash,turnoffthewatersupplytothe
applianceandleavethedoorslightlyajarsothat
moistureandodorsarenottrappedinside.
Beforecleaningorperformingmaintenance,always
removetheplugfromthesocket.
Tocleantheexteriorandrubberpartsofthedishwasher,
donotusesolventsorabrasivecleaningproducts.
Useonlyaclothandwarmsoapywater.
Toremovespotsorstainsfromthesurfaceofthe
interior,useaclothdampenedwithwaterandalittle
whitevinegar,oracleaningproductmadespecifically
