Warning: To guard against injury, basic

1. Read and follow all safety instructions before
using this appliance.
2. Danger: To avoid possible electric shocks,

employed in the use of aquarium equipment, for
each of the following situations do not attempt
repairs yourself. Return the appliance to an
authorised service facility for service or discard the
appliance.
3. This appliance is not intended for use by young
children or infirm people. Close supervision is
recommended when any electrical appliance is
used.
4. Do not use the pump for reasons other than the
intended use. The use of attachments that are not
recommended or sold by the pump manufacturer
may cause the product to be unsafe. This is not
recommended.
5. Do not install or store the pump where it will be
exposed to temperatures below freezing.
6. Make sure any component mounted on or in a
tank is securely installed before operating it.
7. Ensure the correct batteries are installed and
replace both batteries when old ones expire.

you are familiar with the product and find a place to
keep the instructions handy for future reference.
Your attention is drawn particularly to the sections
concerning “IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS” and the
“GUARANTEE CONDITIONS”. Please insure you
retain your original purchase receipt in the event
that warranty service is required.
Carefully unpack the pump making sure you keep
all the packing material until all the parts of the
product have been found and the product has been
assembled.
This Product is shipped to you in a factory sealed
carton. Should the Product be damaged, dropped,
malfunctions in any way contact the retailer where
the product was purchased for inspection.
Air Stone:
• Replace the Air Stone every 6 months or when it
shows signs of deterioration.
• If being used in salt water a plastic or ceramic air
stone is recommended.
PUMP DOES NOT WORK
1. Ensure switch is in the on position
2. Make certain the batteries are installed correctly.
3. Replace both batteries with new ones.
4. Check that the Air Line is not kinked
5. Check Air Stone and replace if needed.

5. Install 2 x D batteries. Make
certain they are in the right way

the side wall of the pump

plastic bag
6. Close the pump, it should
“click”
7. Remove the airline and
airstone from the plasticbag.
Plug the airstone into one end
of the airline
8. Plug the other end of the
airline into the outlet of the pump
9. Where possible place the
pump above the aquarium or
bucket
10. If this is not possible then
ensure that an Aqua One check
valve is fitted to the airline,
failure to do so will damage your
air pump & void your warranty
11. Flick the switch to the “on”
position to operate the pump.
