on dimensions, positioning and

connection of the outside air inlet to

the stove / Stûv 30-compact in.

The back part of the body of the

cladding has an access to facilitate the

positioning of the outside air inlet duct

[image 1].

When installing cladding, ensure

you attach the stove securely to the

ground and wall.

Please consult the installation

instructions for your Stûv 30-in / Stûv

30-compact in when doing this.

All of the parts are symmetrical. They

have been developed so that they can

be placed on the left as well as on the

right.

These instructions show fitting for a

single side. Apply the same operations

whilst making sure that the second

side is symmetrical.

Insulating the fireplace : pros & cons

Safety

Take the necessary precautions to

prevent excessive heating of the

recess walls and construction materials

close to the stove (e.g. wooden

beams) and insulate these materials

according to industry regulations and

the applicable standards depending on

their flammability.

the front piece support and the wall

to ensure there is enough space to

install the façade.

screws before fixing the front window

If you intend to divert your connecting

flue pipe, ensure the diversion is

positioned at the bottom of the pipe.

Positioning of the extension framework

For the finishing panel, it is possible to

install:

- The metal finish panel supplied by

Stûv (in one of the shades offered).

- A sheet of plasterboard which will

enable you to paint the extension in

the same colour as the walls in the

room.

In this case, the framework element

is used as a fastening bracket for the

plasterboards.

Assembly of the corner extension

To install a corner cladding, the work

must be carried out with the stove

having no front wall support.

Make sure the stove is centred

correctly in the corner [diagram 1].

Position the extension framework

against the ceiling, using the tips as

end-stops [diagram 4]
