Bushwacker® only approves installing the Trail Armor according to
these written instructions with the hardware provided. WARNING:
Failure to install according to these instructions will invalidate the
warranty. This includes, but is not limited to using alternative installation
methods, hardware, or materials. DO NOT USE: Loctite, SuperGlue, or
similar products on the hardware or the ares.
Wash and completely dry the vehicle before installation. Dirt and debris
will negatively affect this product’s adhesion to the vehicle surface.

Installation Procedures
Beginning in the driver side rear corner, locate
the small plastic door that is covering the tail light
retaining bolt.
Open rear hatch.
Tail light retaining bolt exposed.Use a screwdriver to pry open the cover for the tail
light retaining bolt.
Use a 10mm nutdriver to remove the tail light
retaining bolt.
Carefully pull the tail light assembly away from the
vehicle.

Use a screwdriver to fully disconnect the wiring
harness and set tail light assembly aside.
Test t the Corner Guard in place. Take note of where
the red tape liner aligns with the vehicle body.
Clean the surface where the tape will contact the
vehicle body using the enclosed alcohol pads.
Carefully pull the red tail light harness release switch
in the direction indicated.
Position the Corner Guard in place and align with
the previously cleaned surface. Ensure that the red
tape pull tabs are all accessible. Apply pressure to
exposed tape.
Peel back 2” of red tape liner on all anges to expose
adhesive and create a pull tab.

With the Corner Guard in its nal position, begin
pulling tape tabs to remove remaining tape liners.
Proceed in a clockwise patter, beginning with the
upper left hand side as shown above.
Apply FIRM pressure to all anges to ensure proper
adhesion.
Repeat Steps 1 thru 15 to install passenger side
Trail Armor.
Reverse Steps 2 thru 8 to reinstall tail lamp
assembly.
