HOW TO CONNECT THE INTERNET
GATEWAY TO THE WI-FI NETWORK

is document explains how a Sentera internet gateway can be connected to a local -
Wi-Fi network. is document applies to following article codes:

* e DIG-M-2 and SIG-M-2 Internet Gateways can also be hard wired to your router. In that case, use a regular network
cable en skip the Wi-Fi setup below. Go direct to SenteraWeb setup at the end of this document.
CONNECT THE INTERNET GATEWAY TO THE WI-FI NETWORK
■Connect the power supply
■ By default, the red LED of the internet gateway lights up. is indicates that
there is no connection with the Wi-Fi network
■ To adjust the settings of the internet gateway, proceed as follows:
► Using your computer or mobile device, scan for available Wi-Fi networks (see
Fig. 1)
► Connect to the Sentera Internet Gateway (XIGxM-xxxxxxxxxx) using the
password “123456789”

■ Open the internet browser of your mobile device or computer and enter following
ur l : “192.168.1.123 ”
■ is brings you to the internal host page of the Sentera Internet Gateway (See
Fig. 2)
■Check the Wi-Fi box
■Select the Wi-Fi network to which you want to connect your Gateway
■ Enter the password of the selected Wi-Fi network
■Click “Save & Restart”
■ Now your internet gateway is connected to the Wi-Fi network. e green LED
lights up
■ e internal host page is no longer available. If something goes wrong or if you
want to select a different Wi-Fi network, press the Wi-Fi reset button for 5
seconds and restart this procedure.

OPEN SENTERAWEB
Now everything is ready to set up your installation via SenteraWeb.
Remember that you need the serial number of each product that you want to connect
to your installation!
Follow these steps:
1. Create your account on SenteraWeb
2. Log in via: https://www.senteraweb.eu/en/Account/Login
3. Create your installation by entering the serial number of the Gateway
4. Make sure that all devices that you want to add to your installation are powered
and connected (Via Modbus RTU) to the Master channel of the Sentera Internet
Gateway
5. Now you can start adding the slave devices to the installation by entering their
serial numbers

ATTENTION Make sure that the device(s) that you want to add to your SenteraWeb installation
have Modbus ID 1 (factory default).
ATTENTION SenteraWeb will assign a new Modbus ID to the device when you add it to your
installation, and put it back to 1 when you remove the device from your installation.
