INSTALLATION

ToinstalltheSFPintoanappropriatemodule,completethe

followingsteps:

1. InspecttheSFP.Ifdamaged,fileaclaimwiththecarrierand

thencontactADTRANCustomerSupport.

CAUTION

DonotremovetheprotectiveendcapfromtheSFPuntilthefiber

opticcableisreadytobeconnected.

2. InserttheSFPintotheSFPcageonthemodule.Ensurethat

themanufacturer’slabelontheSFPisfacingupwardfor

correctinstallation.

3. SlidetheSFPallthewayintothereceptacleuntilthereisan

audible“click”.

NOTE

ThelatchontheSFPisusedtoremovetheSFPfromthecageon

thecircuitcard.
