GP I :ENERAL RODUCT NFORMATION
These fixtures are intended to be installed utilizing NEC compliant
junction boxes.
This product is safety listed fo dry locations only.
This instruction shows a typical installation.
Determine the height of the fixture with the provided stems and chain/loop, then assemble them by screwing them together.
Insert the socket assembly through the shade and secure it with the shade nut, then feed the cord through the stem assembly
and screw the stem assembly to the socket assembly
Place the plate onto the threaded pipe and screw the threaded pipe to the bottom of the socket assembly.
Screw the lamp into the socket. Refer to the label on the lamp socket for Max Wattage information.
Place the diffuser onto the threaded pipe and secure it in place by screwing on the finial of your choice.
Secure the mounting plate to the electrical box with two mounting plate screws.
Feed the fixture wires through the canopy and screw the canopy onto the stem assembly.
Connect the fixture to a suitable ground in accordance to local electrical codes.
Connect the white fixture wire (square and/or rigid) to the neutral power line wire with a wire nut.
Connect the black fixture wire (round and/or smooth) to the hot power line wire with a wire nut.
Neatly place all the wires into the electrical box, place the canopy onto the mounting plate, and secure it in place by screwing
in the fixture screws.
