USER MANUAL FOR THE VARIANT IEC SURGE PROTECTOR
To ensure correct operation, the VARIANT IEC surge protector should be connected to a power outlet where the phase, neutral and earthing wires are clearly identified. The pin grid array of the power
socket and the IEC 320 input connector should are presented in figures 1 and 2, respectively.

Caution! If a power cable, different than the original length > 2m required cross-section wires to 1 mm .

Signalization of the surge protector's functional statuses:
§ the mains button illuminates if voltage is present in the mains outlets,
§ surge protection is indicated by the illuminated LED diode – Fig. 3.
To connect the EVER surge protector:
§ connect the power cord to the protector's input socket (IEC 320 C14) – Fig. 2,
§ connect the other end of the surge protector's power cord (IEC 320 C14) to the power outlet,
§ plug in the outlet plugs of the protected devices to the power outlets on the surge protector,
§ switch on the mains button.
OPERATION GUIDELINES
§ If there is no power in the protector's sockets (the switch is not illuminated), make sure there is power in the mains socket to which the device is connected. If there is still no power on the
protector's sockets, despite the fact that there is power on the protector's input plug, the device must be repaired. For repair information see www.ever.eu
§ The power strip should only be used in systems with safety contact (earthing pin)!
§ Taking into consideration the type and fuse location, the safety systems applied in the building system are used as one of the security measures.
§ Depending on the type of material to which the surge protector is attached (concrete, brick, plasterboard), an appropriate set of pins with screws dedicated for this type of material should be
used. The device should be installed in accordance with the fixing template available at www.ever.eu

NOTE! The surge protector is fully disconnected from the power network by unplugging the power lead plug from the socket, which should be easily accessible and located close to the device.Product is
designed for indoor use. Protect the device from humidity.
