3. Using folders
Youcancombineseveralappiconsina
folder.Droponeappiconoveranotheron
aHomescreen,andthetwoiconswillbe
combined.
NOTE:Afteryouopenanapp,youcan
usuallyadjustitssettingsbychoosing
itemsfromitsMenuiconnearthetopor
bottomofthescreen.

source application and OS

5. Using the hard reset
(factory reset)
Ifyourphonedoesnotrestoretotheoriginal
condition,useahardreset(factoryreset)to
initialiseit.

& reset>Factory data reset>Reset
phone.(Ifyouwanttoerasealldataon
phone'sSDcard,checkErase SD card
box)
2 Thephonewillturnonandperforma
factoryresetimmediately.
Donotoperateyourphoneforatleasta
minute,whilethehardresetiscarriedout.
Youwillthenbeabletoswitchyourphone
backon.

6. Opening and switching
applications
MultitaskingiseasywithAndroidbecause
youcankeepmorethanoneapplication
runningatthesametime.There'sno
needtoquitanapplicationbeforeopening
another.Useandswitchbetweenseveral
openapplications.Androidmanageseach
application,stoppingandstartingthemas
neededtoensurethatidleapplicationsdon't
consumeresourcesunnecessarily.
To view the list of recently used
applications:
SimplypressandholdtheHomekey.
To stop applications:
1 Touch >System settings>Apps
from the DEVICE > RUNNING tab.
2 Scrollandtouchthedesiredapplication
andtouchStoptostopit.

8. Synchronising your phone to a
computer
DatafromyourdeviceandPCcanbe
synchronisedeasilyusingtheLGPC
Suitesoftware.Contacts,schedules,and
bookmarkscanbesynchronised.
Theprocedureisasfollows:
1 ConnectyourdevicetoyourPC(usea
USBcableorWi-Ficonnection).
2 Afterconnection,runtheprogram
andselectthedevicesectionfromthe
categoryontheleftsideofthescreen.
3 Click[Personalinformation]toselectit.
4 Tickthecheckboxesofthecontentyou
wanttosynchronise,andclicktheSync
button.
9. Synchronising your phone to a
computer via USB
NOTE:Tosynchroniseyourphonewith

10. Hold your phone upright
Holdyourmobilephonevertically,asyou
wouldaregularphone.TheLG-P970hasan
internalantenna.Becarefulnottoscratchor
damagethebackofthephone,asthismay
affectperformance.
Whilemaking/receivingcallsorsending/
receivingdata,avoidholdingthelowerpart
ofthephonewheretheantennaislocated.
Doingsomayaffectcallquality.
11. When the screen freezes
If the screen freezes or the phone does
not respond when you try to operate it:
Removethebattery,reinsertit,thenturnthe
phoneon.
OR
PressandholdthePower/Lockkeyfor
10secondstoturnitoff.
Ifitstilldoesnotwork,pleasecontactthe

firmlyinyourhand.Withtheotherhand,
firmlypressdownthecentreoftheback
cover,whilepullingthetopawaywith
yourforefinger.Thenliftofftheback
cover.
2 SlidetheSIMcardintotheSIMcard
holder.Makesurethegoldcontactarea
onthecardisfacingdownwards.
3 Insertthebatteryintoplacebyaligning
thegoldcontactsonthephoneandthe
battery.
4 Replacethebackcoverofthephone.
